A long time ago, I had a friend who was a car dealer, he told me that he had a Fiat Trauma come in. The car was actually a Fiat Strada. When I asked why he called it a Fiat Trauma, he gave me the keys. After driving it I understood why, it was appalling.  I love Fiats, but not the Fiat Trauma

I saw a Reliant Robin (normally a 3 wheeled fibre glass ‘saloon’) with the back of the roof cut off to turn it into a pickup. There was no rear window and the driver and passenger were exposed to the elements. I swear I could see the ‘cab’ flexing as it drove along.

Some years ago I visited the Bilbao Guggenheim Museum, they had an Allegro estate on display with some shovels and spades in the back as an exhibit, so it is definitely a work of art.

A short Panda story. Back in the early 1980's I owned a Triumph Dolomite Sprint. Late one night on the M20 motorway (in the UK), I was passed by a Panda going very fast down the Wrotham Hill section of the motorway, it is quite steep. So I speeded up to find out how fast the Panda was travelling. I caught up to to the

Jason, couldn’t you ask your boss to fund a trip to Brazil?

I drove an X6 back in January, when my 235 was being repaired. I thought that the X6 steering was awful. I was glad when the dealer asked for the car back; they replaced it with a 630 GT. The 630 GT was a surprisingly good back road car (much to my surprise).

There is a single plate system across the UK.

This is why drivers of older vehicles should always carry a few magnets in case of emergency.

Yes, yes we would make fun of you.

Nothing thanks; I’m well under 85 years old.

The fake engine noise is easy to stop with ASD By-Pass wiring harness.

In a UK spec Fiat 500, there is a time limit on the stop start,; trouble is, the car does not tell you when the time limit has been passed. Most of our traffic lights stay red for longer than the time limit, so when you go to pull away, the car does not re-start. This has been my experience in three different Fiat

You would might appreciate this real name....

Rain-X only works for 3 days now. Give it a few years, and you’ll need to apply it per journey.

The Mini does have a digital speedo in front of the driver (in the digital display in the rev counter), due to the centre speedo being useless.

Depreciation may be a factor; Auto Trader UK shows a Genesis registered in 2017, with 1,951 miles priced at £32,000 which is $41,249.

If the test cars have the serial number plate, tell us the serial numbers please.

Up to 30 MPH in my BMW; best to put the cruise control on whilst the top is going up, otherwise the roof stops moving.
