I think this counts in spirit - if not according to the letter of the request.  I’m going old-school, the Jaguar D-type from the mid-50s. It won, and it looked damn good doing it:

You realise that once Devon and Cornwall get over their scone thing they’ll unite into a terrifying force that will sweep across the chubby outlands of Somerset and Dorset before uniting with the Welsh and Scots and setting fire to all of England?

Don’t mention that to these people. They get a nosebleed when they try to get their heads round the idea of Cornish independence. What did you expect the chubby-fingered authoress of this piece to do? Actual research!?

Agreed, and what better way to appeal to younger buyers than go touring car racing?

Yes, there were some reasonably sporty versions of that cavalier. The 4x4 turbo had over 200 hp. It was definitely overshadowed by the Sierra / Sapphire Cosworth though.

It’s like American remakes of foreign films, nobody wants to read subtitles...

You mean... the only place you would see one?

I’m sorry man, you put some good stuff out there. Saw a Chevy SS on the road in the US last week, but had to double check bc wasn’t quite sure. I hadn’t known that one of the things to do over here is to put Holden badges on your car. It was cool.

Well, this is weird. That sign’s a couple of miles away from here, on the other side of the local park.

I made mine. Bought 3 of them, 2 new. (2008 G8 GT and 2016 Chevy SS) Now have a slightly modified ‘15 SS.

This is not the greatest badge engineering in the world, no

Slideshows in car enthusiast website stories. Yeah, those need to go.

I do not understand the phenomenon of buying your kids a car. I had a car available to me as a teen. When my parents weren’t using it, I could drive it. My kids had the same deal. We managed to be a one-car family while we had a teen driver.

Literally a tin can of a boat...

It's a BEETLE.

I respect your right to a cynical view, but I do not jive with this sentiment.
