I didn't misspeak but I was unclear, I appolgize. This system is used in conjunction the double VANOS system, BMW calls it valvetronic double VANOS and was initially introduced in 2001. Most BMW enthusiasts still just call it VANOS, which is where the confusion came about.

Double VANOS employs both variable lift event and variable timing.

Wrong, it's called VANOS

300zx missing turbos. Snoooozeeville.

In addition, that "big" v8 as you are refering to is actually a very small motor in terms of packaging size. Look at it in comparison to a new DOHC v8 such as the coyote 5.0.

Why are people being so negative about this car? It's exactly what it needs to be in this day and age. People need to stop living in the damn 90's and realize no car maker in their right mind will ever again make a car just like a car from the 90's.... We have this thing called technology, innovation, and

The driver of the sedan doesn't look to be speeding... He just appears to be blind.

The Lamborghini did exactly what it's supposed to do, protect it's passenger.

Hope that guy has some serious insurance.

I thought this generation was supposed to be a drastic departure from current Mustang? This looks like an updated version of the same car. If this is close to the real thing it will be disappointing at best.

As a hard headed, red blooded male I am required to say this (Plus, somebody had to)

Manual Transmission. It needs this.

Does it seem proportionally large in pictures to anybody else? Especially considering the size of the 2.0 duratec up front..

My god these videos are hilarious. I just went through and watched all of his bazaar, demented and twisted versions of automotive reality. They are wonderful.

My father has a 2.4 6-speeed ILX and it's a joy to drive.

I'm sorry, you're wrong, the GLI is a terrible deal. If you're looking for a front wheel drive practical performer there are much much better options available for less money. i.e. Focus ST, Mazdaspeed3, Civic Si, etc.

Maybe if I'm extra good I can have one of these under my tree this year for Christmas.

My god that is atrocious.

I have to say this. I love it.

I personally love the idea of them - but then my pesky logical side rears it's ugly head and reminds me how ridiculous and impractical they are. I do agree that they are wonderfully fun - but, there are so many other options in terms of looks, ridiculous speed , and practicality. Anymore, you can have your pie and

How?!

Does this really surprise anybody?

The comments being posted are ridiculous - saying it's ricer this, blah, etc. This car is purpose built and it's bad ass.
