defintely prefer the Season 1 version

the Lina/Jordan dynamic totally struck too close to home for me - I meet and socialize with a lot of younger people through a shared activity (sports leagues), and in that context our personal interactions are fine. But life-line-wise they have so much more still ahead of them, and this episode made me realize that I

all the upvotes! Except that Redford wanted to stay & fight, and I don't think Theon ever had any intention of sticking around.
I can definitely see Newman's blue blue eyes in Sansa's though

well, I defer to the collective wisdom - apparently my brain is cross-pollinating different events - carry on!

nope, not what I was thinking of specifically, but yep, pretty much spot-on conceptually - thanks!

I don't think I've read Sanderson, but the idea sounds similar

@BNowalk - I'm pretty sure that someone mentioned on-screen a few seasons back that Balon slipped and took a header off a bridge (off-screen). So on the show the Gendry-blood leeches were 3-for-3 (Balon, Joffrey, and Robb)

All right Reggie, I just love me some Boingo too - think they're sadly overlooked

Especially after Special-Forces-Sniper-Badass, I picture Liv maintaining a refrigerated library (and then carrying around a quiver) of skill-specific brain doses, for use as the varying situations require.

Yes, agreed - I'm not buying Clive as a fantastic detective - but maybe that's on purpose? After all, he's a murder police that doesn't question that psychic powers are real

ok, I need to read everything before replying - Olivececile pretty much made the same comment below

see my reply to Kumagoro above - so in this theory, the bullets remained embedded in the kevlar

Why hasn't anyone on the show brought up the possibility of a kevlar vest?
The gun wasn't silenced & Major & Ravi don't live out in the boonies, so I agree somebody should have reported shots fired.
But even so Babineaux should give some credence to Major's story, and not jumpt directly to "you're looney."
All three

I now need to immediately find an activity that requires me to have a call sign, if only so I can use *this* call sign!

doh - spoiler

the Bammer!

at first I mis-heard him as boasting "The Me Tree!!!"

just caught up to this on the DVR, but even though late I just gotta say…
the Bammer!!!
[good to see her getting more on-air work]

intersection of 2 of my favorite things: Pushing Daisies (using knowledge from the dead in order to solve their murders) and Veronica Mars (smart snarky blonde heroine, Rob Thomas' writing). Add in a bit of a Warm Bodies vibe - gotta say, I'm liking it!
