You never know they could catch lightning in a bottle

I don't like this, but my biggest worry is that they'll soft-erase some Pokemon they don't care about. Not that they'll actually remove them from existence, just that they'll never put then back into games, so you'll never get to use them again. If they make a conscientious effort to make sure each Pokemon is put in a

It’s just a disappointing decision. Pokemon is literally the biggest entertainment franchise in all of media. Every entry sells millions of copies, many over 10 million copies. It’s not like GameFreak is spending dev time working on amazing graphics, or massive open worlds, or complex physics and interactions, or

This is kind of a bummer. S&S is the first true foray into Pokemon on the big screen with the full Gameboy experience of the entirety of the battle engine as it has existed, along with capturing pokemon from all over. While other games have come close, this is the real deal of the full experience mirrored completely.

“I think, as a Canadian, we would just never ever think about doing something like that,”

Related - I’ve finally just started reading Moore’s Saga of the Swamp Thing run, and holy shit, the ‘autopsy’ issue might be one of the best single issues I’ve ever read. I was getting pretty excited about seeing the series. One season is better than nothing I guess, but I love the idea of spinning it out to JL:D

If you just crossed a state line and there’s a fireworks shop within 500'—they sell the good stuff.

You weren’t wearing pants and the neighbor said “your dog is loose”?

I'm a fan of those pop up fireworks stores, like an old barn or warehouse along the side of the road with a sign you can see from miles away that sell all manner of almost military grade fireworks and will throw in a few boxes of black cats for free for the kids....fun!

Just as a word of warning, Wisconsin also hadn’t voted Republican since ‘84, until the last election, and is barely 1% whiter than Oregon...

I don’t think “we’re making a sequel to one of your favorite games, it’s in dev right now” is a “vague promise.”

Wrote a sentence?

I’m sorry you’re sad but man i’m so fucking amped to get more botw action!

this is the worst take

You may be in the minority on this one, unfortunately.

Nintendo really killed it. The other conferences got a “oh, that looks interesting” from me but the Nintendo hype is real!

Or... OR

Fucking loved the fakeout

“Son, Juju went to go live on a big farm.”
