I only decided to give this show a shot because of that AV Club list "Beyond the Wall" for post-Game of Thrones recommendations. I'm flabbergasted that something this great is so frequently ignored.

I liked New Naevia, but I agree. It would have been fantastic to have seen her character's evolution throughout the series with the same actress, considering just how major those changes are.

I just finished watching the series and Jesus, has there ever been that much of a leap in quality from the pilot to the series we eventually got? This has to have been one of the best written shows I've seen on TV, and I'm shocked that I heard next to nothing about it during its run, except that it was full of T&A.

Finally, I can jack off to Emo Philips with only slightly less shame.

Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.

It seems like you're taking this parody song way too seriously. Weird Al is probably as much of a grammar Nazi as he is an Amish surgeon with an eating problem.

Koba telling everyone that Caesar loved humans more than apes right in his face was the "shit just got real" moment of the film.

I'd watch it if the protagonists were two middle aged guys who go into a convenience store just so they can get milk and a newspaper and wonder why the young men at the register are being so rude to them.

I hope I don't get spoiled!

No doubt about it, but I'll take any opportunity to quote Ed Wood.

"You people are insane! You're wasting your lives making shit! Nobody cares! These movies are terrible!"

So who's pumped for any of these releases?

Anyone else have this reaction?

"We were raping Jack Kirby…but with love."

"Well, I suppose that if you set out to break my heart, you did a very good job of it. Because it certainly does hurt."

The director did a Q&A for my class, and it was fantastic. The film was actually a labor of love, believe it or not, and he still can't believe he got paid to make it.

I don't know what to believe anymore.

I did like the reference to Hannibal Rising a few episodes back when he was tied to a tree. I wasn't expecting that.

I initially read the last word in the headline as "obnoxiously."

I hope she'll be offering beer milkshakes as refreshments for serious buyers.
