In my experience, caffeine withdrawal takes about three days to get over. Sleep the first day while taking something other than Excedrin for the headache.

I stop consuming caffeine around 5 or 6 in the afternoon and take 3mg of melatonin an hour before bed. It really makes a difference for me.

One of these three, guarana, taurine, or ginseng, make me hyper-aggressive with a short fuse, whereas high doses of caffeine, by itself or with B vitamins, does not.

This is how I save money. $2.88 a box, mix each packet with .5 liter bottle of water for 120mg of caffeine. I drink between 5 and 10 bottles per day. Yes, I may have a slight problem, but I am a much nicer human being when jacked up on caffeine, surprisingly.
