No I know but better safe than sorry? Idk. At least they have the ability to review (some of?) them, right?

I prefer slaying pussy, but that’s ok

I agree. The NFL should probably implement a targeting rule. It seems to have worked out ok for the NCAA

You went to Vietnam in 1993 to open up a sweatshop...

To be fair everyone’s contention seems to be that the guy was already wrapped up

How do you not know who Stalin is?

C’mon dude. That’s a bold accusation to say it was a deliberate attempt to injure someone.

I think the only potentially useful thing the NFL could do is just that—enforce tackling with your head up.

Sounds like it coming straight outta Stalin’s mouth

I don’t think they ever featured players getting injured.

Except we call it sarcasta-ball.

I don’t think you can definitively say 1) that the ball carrier’s progress was stopped (no whistle) and thus 2) that the contact was “unnecessary.”

Lol this is really because you’re upset it happened to a guy on YOUR favorite sports team? I don’t give a fuck about the fucking Chicago Bears, but it’s good to know where your priorities are.

“Absolutely no ability” isn’t that why they are on the field?

Why aren’t the refs blowing the whistle if his progress is stopped? I don’t think it should be the players’ responsibility to determine when the opponent can no longer reasonably progress forward. I agree about leading with the crown, although this unfortunately occurs on 70% of tackles, generously.

Ok, he led with the crown of his helmet, but it’d be easier to count the tackles in a game where that isn’t the case than when it is. I don’t think that’s okay, but apparently the NFL and (more consequentially) lots of youth/amateur football coaches do. This will only change along with the nature of the game. These

I think I’ll pass on doing any research on the fucking NFL rulebook, but enjoy the rest of YOUR night.

People will surely disagree, but unfortunately there is nothing really wrong with the hit in the context of football.

I don’t think there’s ever been a team where I couldn’t name a single player. I knew a McCown was starting at quarterback but I couldn’t be sure which one.
