Nice interview. It's always nice to see another So Weird fan! Jon Cooksey, one of the executive producers for the show, said that Disney didn't replace Cara DeLizia. She chose to leave the show to pursue other opportunities. At the same time, Disney decided to take the show in a lighter direction, so that's why they brought on Annie.

Though I watched mostly Nick as a kid, my favorite show was on Disney Channel. I loved So Weird's first two seasons. Even though it wasn't nearly as scary as AYAOTD for me, it had a lot of other stuff going for it - a wonderful plot arc (abandoned, unfortunately, but it had so much potential), great sibling dynamic,
