Because they didn't put RAPE on a license plate? The 8 could stand for a lot of things. Maybe it's the closest they could get to an infinity symbol between the initials of two members of a couple.

I hope no one hurts themselves with the stretch this requires. Is this really the best use of our time and focus in trying to actually improve things for women? There's enough actual, validated, confirmable BS going on in the world to address before we start trying to assign meaning and motives in fuzzy situations.

Okay, I think I'm just confused— I'm not seeing a lot of outbursts or repeated commentary from him that's the same as the first, or weird, off-topic things— basically, nothing that screams "PAY ATTENTION TO ME." Why do you feel he's "trolling"?

Not for nothing, but the entire perception of nobody caring and "you're not welcome here" is pretty much the exact problem of people who have these kinds of irrational feelings of self-loathing and externally focused frustration and anger. Why prop it up further? The guy's additional answers haven't been

Oh, I don't like the character. I just love the styling. Her character is intensely annoying. I mean, psychopath, fine, if you can pull it off, but eeeeeeegh. Annoying.

I couldn't decide if I loved Bloody Mary (great styling! Love the concept! Weirdly sexy!) or hated her. I decided, kind of both. She's annoying, but interesting. But she can't last— you attacked Bigby, lady, so I gotta take you down.

Okay, reading through these comments, you seem to be someone who can explain this to me. If the tropes are used in order to convey a few ideas in a quick, visual fashion— namely, that he's a bad guy, that he has some power, and that he's using it to control/kill/enslave those who are different from/have less power

I'm glad I'm not the only one EXTREMELY confused by the uproar. There are places all over the world where natives are subjugated by people with more influence and power, and often those people are white men. If you make one of those white men a villain— as he should rightly be— then what's the problem?
