Not a big distinction between nerds and geeks when I was a kid. Growing up fundamentalist made things difficult enough, no need to complicate things even more.

I think RLM had that clip in their takedown of the movie and I can say that's exactly how I felt about it too.

I like everything in your comment except for the first two sentences.

Trust has nothing to do with it, and is a frightful word to misuse in that sentence.

So do you!

Plainly evil and stupid. I still find it interesting that I had the same experience growing up, yet D&D and any other kind of fantasy or RPG was perfectly OK.

I actually just added that to my Netflix yesterday. couldn't have said it any better.

It was the music of the month for a couple of friends in late 1999 I think, and it was another case of where if you skipped the tracks that were popular/on the radio, it really wasn't half-bad. Another case of a CD that I had for years afterward, never listened to again, yet it somehow always just lingered on the

I will fully admit that I had that Kravitz album on repeat for a while back in '93. Once you got past the opening title track it was pretty mellow if I recall. Also can't say that I've listened to it since 1994, yet for some reason I think it sat on the shelf until 2003 before I finally sold the CD for all of 50

I heard about this a couple months ago and had really high hopes, but based on this and a few other reviews I've read this seems like the exact opposite of what a band documentary needs to be. Absolute zero interest now.

Priorities!

"I'm already nostalgic for conversations I had yesterday."

Definitely a low point in Will Ferrell's career.

I honestly haven't thought about this in years, but for whatever reason SON reminded me of it. She was on the women's crew team at OSU (great legs, great breasts, and somehow all proportional for only being maybe 5'4") and mutual friends at our work convinced us that we should go out. I think. Regardless, she

Kicking and Screaming definitely holds up over the years. Watched it again last summer for the first time in years and I think that what makes it better than most movies of this ilk is that it isn't defined by music. Funny how great dialogue and characters really can carry a movie all by themselves.
