Finally watched this with a friend who was late to appreciating R&M but who caught up on the last two seasons before this one started. Easily one of the best, and thanks to my bud who mentioned that there is no way Harmon or Reiland aren’t smoking when they write this. Short script when smoking it out, then plotting

I saw this in the theater when it came out with my grandmother, who loved to take me to see any and all animated films when I was growing up (until about I was 11 or 12, when my parents realized I was kind of done with animation for a time). I also saw The Last Unicorn with her and in both cases she was holding my

How have I been a loyal member since before the teens and not gotten an invite? Was it not bad enough the last time we went through this and none of my posts were transferred over from AVC to Discus? So many comments, upvotes, lost in time, like…tears in rain.

Not like I'm paying for it.

Also: Thanks for the link.

Sonderbergh has his favorite actors (like most directors as you know) but I always like how he picks such random bit part folk for key scenes. I swear Nicky Katt was best known for Skinemax soft core back in the 1980's…maybe even a latter day Emannuelle pic? Anyway, you're right, that scene in the office is classic.

I keep telling myself I'll finally watch that movie but instead I just watch "A Fish Called Wanda".

It's easily one of my favorite films by him. Ha! I just looked up the film on Wiki and the guy that wrote it also did the screenplay for Dark City, also a favorite.

I think it was. The art was standard 1970's comic (think "Archie" comics) but the plot lines were good. Going back 30 years or so just thinking about them, but funny how if you read those same comics over and over they stick with you.

I'm still surprised at how decent the show was during the '90's. Even tho Clapton could have just left "Layla" alone, the rest of his set was actually really good and showed his range and knowledge. Also: even tho I knew who Neil Young was, it wasn't until he did his Unplugged show that I really, really got into him.

I would def get on board for this. With the new Star Trek series coming out (which I'm actually kind of excited about, because I couldn't work up any energy for "Enterprise" despite having Bakula) I'm looking forward to a new wave of decent sci-fi series instead of bringing every comic book character to the big or

I get this, and it makes sense.

Let's not forget the comic book that was also prevalent in the '70's. My brother had a few and they were actually pretty decently written as I recall.

Yeah, good luck with that. Can't that shitshow be cancelled already?

…unfortunately.

I bet she probably has a Brazilian wax.
