They all kind of closed in and then stepped back once he did that, huh? My interpretation was that they were sort of thinking they’d move in to help as needed, and then fuck, he took things too far, and they had to get out of the way while she fell.

I adore her and while I can understand the lure of working with an “exalted” director, I am very sad that she did choose to do this project. Both because of Woody Allen’s personal indiscretions, but also because, frankly, the synopsis sounds just icky. Conveniently.

I may be missing some facts here, but this is my takeaway:

THE TERROR IN MY HEART

NO

Why are single mother households always held responsible for every social problem and systemic inequity?

David Lynch how dare you ruin your legacy like this.

Yep, same here. I used to (and still do, to a degree) see images of women in an outfit showing great cleavage, and thinking, I never look like that? And then realizing it’s because my shirts are never that low-cut. I have a few now, now that I know the “why,” but yes, it’s a weird thing to grow into feeling

Related re: the unsettling midriff breeze - I used to be very uncomfortable showing my shoulders for some reason. I’d wear tank tops occasionally, but I was extremely self-conscious when I did.

It’s not just the south. I live on the West Coast and there are scattered Tinder profiles like that here too.

I still remember, at 14, being yelled at for having an inch of my midriff showing when my tanks/tees rode up a bit when I walked. Should I have worn only tops that hit the thigh to prevent this? Because I know I had layering tank tops that were that long - but they were also spaghetti straps, and lord knows those

A diamond in the rough.

Love 7 Psychos and liked LB but wasn’t as enamored with it as I thought I’d be. Farrell was great, and I’m usually a Knightley stan, but it just didn’t pop for me.

Considering how much I love Colin Farrell, I clearly haven’t seen enough of his films.

Very underrated movie, imo.

I hate bringing up Fright Night because of the cult love for the original but holy shit I loved it and thought Colin was brilliant in it. No regrets.

The most recent one I saw was of her (her friends afaik are the ones who actually take the snaps) in her hotel room in Hawaii going after a bug on the ceiling with a shoe. I don’t even know why it’s so much fun when put like that bc it’s the lamest sounding thing ever.

i clearly have been slacking in my movie watching

Yes! Someone on another article sometime in the near past here mentioned it. Username is just rihanna. It is glorious.
