I'm no Snyder apologist, but if you're going to blame someone, it should probably be Frank Miller, who designed that version of the Bat symbol for Dark Knight Returns. There's a lot of things to hate Snyder for, but this actually isn't one of them.

...Salt? Mr. and Mrs. Smith? Are you for real? Pacific Rim was a boat-load of fun and had enjoyable characters, all of whom got to have their own arc. It’s stupid as all get out, sure, but it’s written with a thoughtful sincerity and exuberance that makes it well worth being made into a franchise.

Small thing that gave me hope. During the violent assault in the opener that Cheryl mentioned, a group of gang bangers knocks out the husband, but then DOESN’T assault the wife. I thought it was unusually classy for AHS :p

I already thought Cuba made a horror movie.
