I do, and that’s enough.
I do, and that’s enough.
Sure. True. They’re dicks. And they should be told to fuck off. RIGHT AFTER THEY VOTE. Until then we need to kiss their ass.
Obama has proven that the ability to turn out voters is huge. I don’t think any Bernie voters are going to go vote for Cruz in November. I do, however, think there’s a risk they just stay home.
meanwhile...
RIght and if it makes them not turnout in November well ... oh shit. Look, prior to 2008 I could buy this “12th dimensional chess” stuff with Bill but after seeing him panic and turn to race-baiting to try and take down Obama, I’m a bit more skeptical about his abilities in the modern era.
I’m saying that this is not the issue that many Bernie voters care about. They care about the “rigged economy,” not BLM. That’s why Sanders’ speeches are all about the former, not the latter. Maybe a handful of Sanders supporters will stay home because Bill Clinton isn’t fluent in Wokewhiteguyese, but not many.…
I don’t know quite how Democrats expect to make big wins, after ridding their party of liberals. The moderates are more likely to vote Democrat out of loyalty, and there’s no reason to court the conservatives.
Because if he’s not careful those super predators liberals will vote for Trump or Cruz? Or risk a repeat of 2000 by voting 3rd party?
I’m not really worried about the primaries - if Hillary is going to win, Bill isn’t going to alienate Democrats. But I worry about him alienating Bernie supporters in the general - Hillary needs to turn out Bernie supporters in November, this shit doesn’t help.
Once Hillary gets the nomination she will go back to saying stuff like this:
My concern here is that Bernie’s supporters will stay home in November, not that this is making the difference in a primary right now. Hillary is almost certain to win the nomination, but the general is going to be difficult unless Bernie’s supporters decide to show up and support her.
I completely agree with you, but the thing about politics in the age of instant social media is that you HAVE to be prepared to not EVER have even one shitty ten-second interaction with a heckler. It’s not fair or reasonable or AT ALL related to the job you’re applying for, but it’s just reality - it’s part of the gig…
The apologetics now:
I feel like he’s pissing off a bunch of Bernie voters for just literally no reason. He’s not picking up any electoral votes for Hillary, and he’s just making super liberals mad.
The more he talks, the more I worry about him as a first spouse. Sit. The hell. Down. (Sir).
God this episode is a fucking Rorschach test. The blacklivesmatter protesters aren’t wrong - the crime bill had devistating effects on black communities. Bill Clinton isn’t wrong, the crack epidemic was a real thing and from Al Sharpton to Dick Cheney and people from every stripe between wanted more policing in gang…
Yeah, Bill. BLM is an example of “the danger facing this country.” Good call, not tonedeaf at all.
#sorry #almostsorry
Nah, Bill. Hush.
I’m guessing they know it’s unacceptable, hence its appeal. They’re being edgy.
