Yes. This is the party of “personal responsibility”, after all. If you could just claim some personal responsibility and act like a lady, bad things wouldn’t happen to you.

I’m sure it’s very frustrating to them that he is blowing up their carefully constructed facade wherein they insinuate anti-women stuff but never actually say it out loud. He’s making it really hard for them to keep insisting that there is no war on women within the GOP.

The conservative messsage has always been: it doesn’t happen to good women. Ladies aren’t raped, ladies aren’t assaulted, ladies are’t victims of domestic abuse, ladies aren’t abused at all, and ladies never admit to being victims of anything.

their goal is to return America to the early 1950s

So much this! Plus, it makes me mad when they say that we shouldn't make reproductive rights such a focal point and should be able to look past that difference to the rest of the platform, because abortion isn't that important. Well, if abortion isn't that important, why can't they drop it?

He’s the bullhorn to their dog whistle.

Those were black women. Not white women like them who share the same beliefs and are in the same profession. That made a difference when they saw one of their own attack by the same tactics they used on other women.

Trump really struggles when he’s asked to give specifics. He’s like Lois on Family Guy when she runs for mayor and all she shouts is “9/11" and people cheer. I genuinely try and pay attention during GOP debates and when he’s forced to give specifics on virtually anything he instead shouts buzzwords and is completely

Trump just loudly and openly says all the stuff the GOP has been quietly insinuating for years. That anyone is surprised by any of this is bizarre to me.

Same with people of color who go to Trump’s rallies to support him and are shocked they’re distrusted and attacked: I’m supposed to feel bad that you’re so naive or stupid that you think you can support a racist and not have it blow up in your face? I can’t deal with that kind of cognitive dissonance.

Dear GOP women,

Female ex-GOP here. When it’s how your entire worldview is informed from birth, “brain damaged” maybe isn’t quite as accurate as “brainwashed”.

SE Cupp interviewed Carly Fiorina for Glamour and in it she added an editorial about how she wished women cared about tax/fiscal issues as they did about reproductive health issues. That right there was proof enough that Republican women do. not. get. it. For so, so many people reproductive health issues ARE fiscal

If Trump was worried about a woman holding a pen, how would he handle Putin?

And yet, there are still Republican women. How brain damaged do you have to be to be part of an organization/movement that doesn’t view you as a fully realized human?

First off - the fact that this man has no empathy and is clearly a narcissist is one thing. But can we please acknowledge that he can not even speak about “women” or “women’s issues” without talking as if he’s speaking to men about them? By that, I mean he will keep saying “I’m gonna be so good for women. Women love

On top of being a total asshole concerning Anita Hill, Joe Biden, former senator from MBNA, also authored that Crime Bill people are rightfully pretty upset about right now. And unlike others involved still stands by it. He backed the bankruptcy bill that makes it near impossible to discharge your student loans. Each

“HBO made this movie in an election year to support Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party, which loves to claim that a mythical ‘war on women’ is underway by Republicans,” said Mark Paoletta.
