It’s like you guys actively want to alienate your readers. 

Sure you get stuff like Godzilla vs the Smog Monster or Son of Godzilla, stuff that sucks - but yeah, there are good ones too: vs. Destoroyah, Shin Godzilla, Final Wars off the top of my head.

The Emmerich/Devlin Godzilla is not counted amongst that number.

i’m getting Speed Racer movie vibes from this trailer. not a bad thing. i’m soooooo intrigued bythe Gerwig/Baumbach involvement.

From all the buzz it was getting (best script everyone involved has ever seen etc.) I was expecting at least a promising trailer, Not Lego Movie with wanking jokes.

Another trailer in and I am still not seeing the appeal. That “beach off” joke at the end was just very cringey to me. Almost feels like a borderline 80 gay panic joke.
