So what’s the e.t.a. on the ‘actual’ live-action version that Lightyear is based on?

Apologies... I was looking for my dang jpeg ;)

Wedding Singer:

She did have a brilliant part written for her in Fleabag. Her character she made in Salmon Fishing In Yemen is a thing of beauty and I would love to see more outside-the-norm/box performances like that. She steals every scene she’s in.

Coming out of the pool with the slightest smirk and her utterance of “And what brings you gentlemen to Casablanca?” is quite simply, cinema gold.

I’m just a third into CopLand right now; man, can Liotta just disappear into his characters.

“One day when my mom was walkin’ home... the kids in the neighbourhood buttoned up their shirts to cover their cross-necklaces, outta respect.”

There are a buncha people getting to reap the rewards of never having seen such gems. Still waiting on them to check out CopLand, but in the meantime:

I’d easily put The Firm before Jerry Maguire any day. Fan of both, but “What do you care?” trumps the take used for “We live in a cynical world.” Also, his Reacher (the first one) should really be somewhere on that list; great restraint.*Come at me.

PLEASE do... and then report back.

The judges would have also accepted:

Dang. He was that every-man kind of hero back in the 80's I wanted to grow up to be. The Right Stuff, Remo fu*** Williams(!), Miami Blues ‘n’ Tremors... wow.

Seconded! I first saw her in Circle of Friends where she easily stole the movie, and have enjoyed her in Return to Me and Grosse Pointe as well :)

...we? As a society? I think yer crossing streams there, budday. But if that’s what it takes for us to be that much closer to a Superman vs Spidey crossover flick then I’ll allow it. All monies going to charity of course.

We’ve already had that, then Sue Storm shoots him. Many. Times.

...oof/whew! Not gonna lie, seeing that header pic I immediately ‘read’: Tom Cruise, dead at (whatever age).

Honestly, I was more of a Jim Hutton as Ellery Queen kinda kid. He was a bit more Encyclopedia Brown to me, but then I segued right into Rockford Files so :/

I could definitely see it working if she was the Richard Gere business-woman character, but yeah, I don’t see it happening either :/

I’m saddened at the it-was-right-there lack of We Have A Pressing issue With...

...here here!
