“THERE'S NO BOATING IN BASEBALL!"

No argument here. I’ve watched it a few times now. It has a good drive/momentum to it.

Now playing

Maybe I’m remembering it wrong but I seem to remember a scene where Nick is I think asking Russell if it’s cool being rich or something, and the straight face that Dermot has when he says “Yes. Yes, it really is” is priceless.

Those moments where various actors are asked what the movie is about, and they all answer blah blah blah... “and all this is happening around my character” is still a beautiful bit of cinema that resonates today. It's like if the third jawa from the left was to say: "Well, there’s this hick farmboy who meets this hobo

Yeah. The Edward Hopper one is cool.

I loved his cuts-through-steel character in New Girl, such a great no nonsense foil to the rest of the cast. Also Griffin & Phoenix with Amanda Peet.

Seconded. I could watch an entire 1+ hour b-roll of him just waiting at a red light and I’d have a smile on the entire time.

You’re right, they should have sent a poet.

Meanwhile, I studied parasitology for nothing :/

I mean fuck with his books.

Yay, Zazie Beetz and Lakeith Stanfield! Go team Atlanta.

Seconded. I was so surprised by and she had a great first season of her tv show, looking forward to more.

Now that’s a way better plan than mine. I was going to fly my way through a black hole and then smother him with love.
