Nah, that wasn’t a rant, you said it quite succinctly. The fact that you added that she was a ‘new’ character makes it all the more frustrating. Once Dakota was on the ferry it was a totally different kind of movie. It felt like a totally different direction. Maybe it was just more laid back being in that shack, a lot more shots with light coming through the windows, something. And I loved it.
