Not trying to excuse the lack of safety, but back then, cars weren’t exactly cruising highways at 80. Studies and statistics of the day aside, I can get why *they’d* think this wasn’t a terrible idea.

If I had to guess, I’d say that they’re trying to maintain continuity between takes.

“Instead, the Democratic Party consolidated their efforts to stop Sanders, gambling that despite his popularity and the popularity of his policies, many voters would opt for the familiar, remaining loyal to the establishment. This was a good bet, as it turned out.”

I’d actually issue a challenge to her action-movie co-stars—the other Avengers, namely—as to who has a better non-MCU filmography than ScarJo. She has Ghost World, Lost in Translation, Under the Skin, Her, Marriage Story, Match Point, Hail, Caesar! and The Prestige.

Hemsworth doesn’t have much. I’d say Blackhat but,

Or, and hear me out, I like this movie and was happy to write about it...?

I know, it sounds absurd, but I don’t know any film writers who fabricate their opinions for fun.

Nah, those 8 seasons are still the greatest TV show of all time.

I think it’s closer to a well-regarded chef saying McDonald’s isn’t “cuisine” or an author saying James Patterson isn’t “literature.” Obviously, it depends on your exact definitions of the words and whether they connote a certain quality or artistry, but I wouldn’t say those statements are ridiculous on their face.

Man, that’s almost as vile a scheme as buying a bunch of generally successful, well-produced web sites covering a variety of topics and then totally wrecking them by nerfing their editorial standards and direction, leading to mass resignations and publication of articles pointing out what a dumbass you are. It’s hard

It’s almost like “cancel culture” has no actual effect, and the vagaries of celebrity are bigger and more arbitrary than a Twitter movement.

Even better, she sometimes scores free breakfast and I get the leftovers!

So that is why my wife insists on Date Night.

...but McGrath is a self-described moderate who believes the Democrats currently running for president are veering too far to the left. She doesn’t support eliminating private insurance under a Medicare-for-all plan, nor does she support subsidizing healthcare for undocumented immigrants. She also describes herself as

Sometimes the writers here come off as living in a bubble.

I don’t need her to be a leftist dream, I need her to be better than Mitch. It’s a pretty low bar. Campaigning in a way that talks to voters she needs to win over, conservatives who have probably voted red their whole lives (or voted southern democrat when that was still a thing) is smart.

I recognized Jeremiah Johnson the first time I saw the Meme. Comes with the territory growing up in the 70's and 80's with a mother who used to say that Robert Redford could park his boots under her bed any ol’ time.

I shall revisit the comments.

That’s love right there.

I assume, per usual, that we’ll be seeing comments whining about how bad they think TLJ is?

This review reads like you think the show owes you an apology for last season and is trying to make amends.  It doesn’t and it isn’t.

You have no idea what you are talking about, he could be the best on earth and he would still be only getting his 11~12$/hr. After decades as an executive Chef.... after you count the hours and such, I barely made more than my cooks per hour, sometimes less.
