OMG, what's her skin made out of?

now we just need Ford to make a new Mustang with same metalic green/black vinyl combo, that'd be cool

It's cute but I wonder why the bother fitting indicators when BMW drivers never seem to use them

Excuse me but that's a Cruze, not a Volt, or is that what they mean by "mule"

I wonder if Renault/Nissan might take Volvo off Ford's hands? There used to be a strategic alliance between Renault and Volvo and their ranges complement each others in that Renault can't sell big or even medium sided cars whereas Volvo doesn't do small ones

paid for not working? Pass the crack-pipe!

so presumably you could drive around with the doors lowered, that'd be cool

Cool, I had a toy like that once. Wouldn't really work in central London but next time on on holiday in Corsica I want to hire one

@Ash78: Frankly, if they were hooning about in a Ferrari and no doubt speeding on what look to be urban streets then they deserve all they got. Australia has some great roads on which to "use" a Ferrari so why dick about around town in one?

The BBC report also mentions that Ford is considering selling its stake in Mazda

According to the BBC the talks are now on hold because of the market mayhem

I'd like them to apologize for the MK IV Golf GTi. Not sure what you got state-side but over here in Urp we basically got a 2.0 L (8V!) Golf with SLIGHTLY interesting upholstery (and if I remember rightly 115bhp). A friend had one, it was totally lame-arse

@layabout: Also the Gran Turismo is a good deal cheaper than any Ferrari or Lamborghini. Until the Panamera goes on sale and if the Estoque ever does, the Quattroporte has the 'full-size sports saloon that's not German' market to itself. Mind you with markets plunging and the future looking uncertain at best maybe

@rognbrow: OPPS, jumped ahead a generation, I guess I mean the 207CC

I guess what rates as gay in the UK is different from the US, alas there is no comparable list but I'd be really surprised if the Merc SLK didn't feature and the Peugeot 208CC would of course be at the top of it

It's not a Land Rover, it's an Isuzu

@FЯeeMan is slowly cЯawling out of the new commenting system: I actually tried out the back seat and the whole ingress/egress through the suicide door thing on the stand at the PMS and found it to be quite reasonable (I'm 6ft). Then I got told off by one of the stand ladies! (I'm gay so it really did nothing for me)

I couldn't agree more, tried to use the press room on Friday myself and gave up as the wi fi just didn't work and there was nobody on hand to provide any assistance. Hopeless

I was there too! Was surprised that nobody much seemed to be interested in the BMW X1 but it really quite dull/ugly. The Audi A1 on the other hand was being swamped. Still trying to decide what my fave concept was
