what is so inefficient about RWD? BMW use it on all their products (ignoring the 4x4 ones, which are based on RWD platforms in any case) and thanks to their EfficientDynamics program their cars have some of the lowest CO2 outputs and best fuel economy in their respective classes. GM just needs to work a little harder
