It's kind of a shame that the BLS has been so spectacularly unsuccessful (and I doubt the wagon will make much of a difference) because it has a sort of bling kitchness and a "wtf" factor that makes me kinda want one for no good reason. Fact is the cars have been so badly marketed over here that I'm not surprised

something similar happened to me once but the car was a mint series 1 Jag XJ12

It's really tempting to have BOTH and risk certifaction but in the end the Bagheera's gallic charms have me in their thrall. Nurse! The screens!

the question is, which one would win in a stand-up fight

This seems bizarre given that Volkswagen has announced it will unveil six new BlueMotion models at the Frankfurt motor show in September. This means that, in the course of 2008, there will be nine BlueMotion models on sale in Europe.

The Jalpa was based on the Urraco and I'd rather have one of those or a Maserati Merak, the Jalpa has "pimp" written all over it. But if the choice has to be Jalpa v 308 then it's 308 after a quick visit to the STD clinic

perfect for the man-about-town, his wife and his mistress…

I going to have nightmares now

I'm sure I had a die-cast toy version of this as a child, maybe my parents were secret commies?

this is a real tough one but hey the Lancia's roof comes off (mostly) so that seals it for me

the space between the wheel-arch and top of the fender would indicate a minimal amount of suspension travel, OUCH!

Real hoons in a Corolla? Guess again guys

so everybody is down = the market is down = should we be looking at market share instead of overall sales for a better indicator of winners and losers, or are they all losers?

the Camargue didn't turn up until 1975, there are two of them gathering dust in a garage around the cormer from where I live

The Rolls Royce Camargue, also styled by Pininfarina, didn't turn up until 1975 and there was no Bentley version of it. There are two Camargues gathering dust in a car park around the corner from where I live…

It's a Pininfarina designed Bentley "T" from 1968, thank godness they only made one…

I'm with MXRS, this thing needs to loose a few pounds. And will the convertible version get the same mods?

Love the ad but wish they'd let us hear the engine

great, another filing cabinet on wheels

scroggzilla is absolutely right, the 450SEL designation began with the W116 series S-class and this is clearly a W108/109. The 280SEL 4.5 is actually quite a rare car so would be well worth restoring for its classic status. The Corona would be more fun to pimp-up though…
