If you can’t read between the lines of this story about a shitty celebrity coming into an unethically low-paying job and complaining about the location’s low sales numbers on his trash merch, then I’d argue that you’re more likely the person who’s never done retail work. That wouldn’t be fun for anyone but the largest

Every single person he annoyed had something better to do than help him make more money.  Fuck this guy.

JDW is, of course, a great actor

JDW is, of course, a great actor”

“Hoberman continued, noting that the team decided not to “always evenly match people” in games because those matches are always “the most stressful,” which can get tiring for the player if they happen over and over again.”

I don’t normally like when people respond to criticism of a comedian/anything by saying ‘you don’t get it’, but in this case... I really think you just don’t get it.

Well, in your case, I’d say Fielder’s mission is accomplished.

That little to do on a friday that you need to pop into every comment to register your dislike of T&E style anticomedy, huh?

Watching things done 1:1 through an ironic lens has an energy that just watching a bad thing unfold doesn’t. Otherwise people would stuff theaters full of the worst comedies just to laugh AT

you are the joke, thank you for being there

It’s like saying the Oscars couldn’t nominate Ben Hur because there was a silent film before it. The remake of West Side story was nominated for the Oscar. The Departed, a remake of Infernal Affairs, won the Oscar.

I disagree, there are soooo many examples or terrible remasters and remakes. Games that dont know what things to streamline or improve and what should stay the same after so many years, or simply expecting the nostalgia to do all the work when many elements simply havent aged well

Read all the books and cite all the economic “rules” you want, nobody cares what a thing “should have” cost if it had been adjusted for inflation all along. It wasn’t, and we just care what it cost now compared to a year ago.

The “reality” is all economic “rules” are completely made up and selectively “enforced.”

Now,

nice theory but it doesn’t really work for this game:

Now playing

One of my favorite college memories was my friend and I getting a show on our college radio station and playing the Soylent Clear jingle from Space Quest 6 over the air as a message from our sponsors.

Love the uesername!

The Space Quest series (and Sierra games in general) are what got me into gaming-and honestly got me into the joy of problem solving more than school ever did. I still love all those games.

It consistently boggles my mind just how enduring TMNT are. I still have fond memories of my friends and I trying, sincerely, to learn ninja from a ton of ninja books from the library, back in ‘89. The idea of kids trying that today doesn’t seem possible, because it would probably be a TikTok ‘thing’ and done for

Did we play the same game? HK had some of the best music. Dung Defender fight and Queen’s Garden being my two favorite tracks.

Makes me wonder if Covid-19 Pandemic have really strangled the Hollow Knight: Silksong’s development considering how long they’re making the game.

I don’t really get the appeal of this, but, hey, at least there’s something out there for all the people who are tired of all the big, actiony super hero movies.
