Edge fitness told us they aren’t charging us for the time they’re closed so we don’t have to worry about that. I also have a YMCA membership I was going to cancel anyway, but with all of this, I’ll probably wait until they open again to cancel. Seems like the right thing to do in this case.

Yeah we’ll see how that goes. The CT governor is likely going to shut everything down except grocery stores and pharmacies and other essential businesses after this weekend. Last I looked at the list, race tracks weren’t on there.

Also couldn’t hurt to have a car a lady friend wouldn’t mind riding in. A comfy ride will get you further than you’s think.

I think you should fix it and drive it so you have a semi-reliable, semi-modern mode of transportation. Bonus, it’s you favorite brand. Need something to haul all of those rusty jeep parts around in.

They should just do it like restaurants. Take out only. No staying and negotiation in person. All negotiations and payment over the phone or email. After payment, the car is placed out front with the keys in it and some wet wipes for the driver to wipe down the touch surfaces.

The biggest, however, is that supervised machine learning doesn’t live up to the hype. It isn’t actual artificial intelligence akin to C-3PO, it’s a sophisticated pattern-matching tool.

That’s incorrect. Even for young people the disease can be debilitating and can take weeks to recover from. Just because it doesn’t kill young people, doesn’t mean its a cake walk. Sounds like someone has never had a respiratory virus. I can at least guarantee you’ve never had a NOVEL one which this is.

Building fucking cars during a pandemic is not brave, it’s stupid and exploitative. We don’t need cars, no one is buying cars when they are sitting on the couch wondering if they are going to see more pay checks. We need people to not spread the coronavirus which is hard to do when you’re stuck on a production line

Was it a known issue for the timing belt to spontaneously break even if kept up with? Why would a newly installed timing belt fail? The old one I can see, but did the mechanic screw up?

Because they know you’re going to take them off anyway. They aren’t going to go through the trouble of designing a system lots of owners are going to remove anyway because for some reason lots of owners like having utterly useless and invisible signal lights. It’s not like bikes are already hard to see on the road.

Yeah I thought this was a luxury car. What the heck is that garbage? If it were a sports car, then fine in the name of weight savings, but this is not that.

Them staying in business isn’t my responsibility. I buy tickets, they fly me places. That’s our arrangement. I don’t have a moral responsibility to make sure they stay in business and continue to pay their employees. That is their responsibility and they are failing it. I know it’s easy to feel like the economy doing

Right. Someone apparently hasn’t has a job outside of the family business...

I think it’s impressive you can move a jet a mile through the air on only 5 gallons of fuel. That’s a lot of mass.

Hype, man. It’s the hype. This is different from enron though. They have a legitimate, (maybe) profitable product.

Online retailers often maintain small locations where products can be showcased like, for example, Tesla, Apple, Amazon, Nest, or any other electronic or premium good retailer. If an automotive manufacturer really wants to sell somewhere, they know they will have to provide showcases for their cars or they just won’t

At a track day, I can bring my R6 down from well over 100 mph for T1 as quick as the front tire will handle. I know what you mean though. Some old guy out there that only remembers front drum brakes probably thinks different.

Nooooo... It’s not my responsibility to be a safety net. I’ll continue to pay for the service they provide me. If they don’t want to rely on tips when times are bad, they shouldn’t advocate for tips when times are good. Unionize and get a working wage. Until then, 18%-20% is what you’re getting from me. That’s it.

Yeah this should be fine for a first bike. Enough power to get you down the road but not so much you’ll kill yourself by accident.

Anyone that tells you to use 4 fingers when braking doesn’t actually ride motorcycles. Two fingers should be enough to stoppie a competent bike, much less stop you safely.
