Because they know you’re going to take them off anyway. They aren’t going to go through the trouble of designing a system lots of owners are going to remove anyway because for some reason lots of owners like having utterly useless and invisible signal lights. Anyone that tells you to use 4 fingers when braking doesn’t actually ride motorcycles. Two fingers should be enough to stoppie a competent bike, much less stop you safely.
