Ooooohhhhh noooooooo. Rich guy lost some of his rich guy money. Now he only has tens of millions instead of over a hundred million. Fuck him and fuck his jackpot winning self.

Who the fuck touches other peoples’ children? If it’s not yours, hands off. You don’t go up to random adults and touch their face do you?

I’m also completely fine with people only putting one bud in and leaving their other ear open. Both in is too restrictive. You need to be able to hear not only what cars are doing around you, but what your car is doing. In some cases, you don’t want a problem to become bad enough that you feel it.

You just contradicted yourself. It’s OK for deaf people to drive because they’ve adapted. The average person has not.

Whether or not the tech will ever actually work out is one thing. Whether or not the hype industry of CES is interested in it getting investment dollars in 2020 is a bit more clear.

If you’re driving where there are no street lights your sight is impaired with the interior lights on. Maybe around town it doesn’t make a difference, but on back roads or long stretches of highway there is a huge difference. Reading lights, not so much. But the whole interior light, definitely.

Yeah but they have no choice in the matter. Without specific driver training, which deaf people are likely to receive, the average person relies on their hearing more than they know and therefore are a hazard when they cannot hear outside of their car. Just because we make exception for people that have no choice in

Yeah but they have no choice and are likely to have been prepared to drive without the use of their hearing. The average schmuck has not and is likely not aware of how much they depend on their hearing for everyday tasks. It’s safer to be able to hear while you’re driving, but it would be silly to prohibit deaf people

You think that, but it doesn’t. Only a small fraction of people listen to the radio loud enough to drown ALL sound. I listen at pretty high volumes and can still pick out horns and sirens most of the time. With ear buds in you’re much less likely to even at low volumes.

Not in my state. You posted something specific to your state.

Glad someone else said this. Dudes need to stop taking credit for the work the woman is doing. The guy does not have a living thing growing inside of him with all of the work and energy that takes. While the guy should be caring for his pregnant partner and shouldering day-to-day burdens, he by no means is pregnant in

Yeah that law was written by someone who has never ridden. I value my hearing too much to ride without earplugs in.

I wear them in my helmet to hear my intercom and to block out wind noise. If not those, I’m wearing ear plugs to block out the wind. They actually help me hear better because the wind would otherwise drown out the noise other cars are making around me. However, earbuds with music blaring is dangerous.

True, but even with the stereo up in my car, I can still sort of hear things. Almost like I can’t hear it, but I can almost sense it? IDK.

You should remove the spikes from your pedals then....

Also kind of cool, there is no open container law inside of a vehicle in my state. Passengers can drink, but the driver better be able to pass a sobriety test.

Driving with headphones in. Strangely enough, at least in my state, I don’t think this is illegal. Fucking dumb? Yes. But not illegal.

Your work doesn’t let you read swears? Lol! That’s on you, buddy. We don’t have to act like we’re at the kids table just because your employer sucks.

Gas stations have had years to implement chip readers. I’m sure Visa and Mastercard are tired of their bullshit excuses at this point.

Reading comprehension, my dude. I wasn’t saying they should improve it, just that it could be. See my other posts and maybe proofread yours before you hit publish. No need to be an ass to people you don’t know on the internet.
