Seems like a good rule. If the car is otherwise dependable, why change it? Every car needs maintenance. A new car will delay it, but at what cost?

If it keeps going out, I wonder if you have a wiring issue. Maybe a corroded plug with resistance that is bit too high creating localized heat that shortens the life of the bulb. Might be worth checking if you can replace the plug.

Maybe, but I doubt the used car lot cares to figure out which ones are good and which ones are utter POS. I think it’s best if the person who is going to be driving on the tires picks where they want to cheap out. Leaving it up to someone with no skin in the game seems risky.

I mean, instead you would have totaled a newer car. The sales tax you would have paid for the first car, let alone for the replacement car would have cost at least the $2k you lost on the repairs. Seems like it would have been a wash.

Exactly. Get some nice hot gasses flowing through the system to clean everything off. Really slosh that oil around. Maybe shake some stuff off whatever. Who knows if it actually helps, but my cars keep running well so I’m gonna keep doing it.

I wanna see what happened to the wheel and tire after it fell off. I’m sure it put a dent in something.

They should call it the “oven edition.” Even in the NE I hate my black on black leather interiored car in the summer. My AC is good, but it takes approximately 60 second for my car to heat up to baking temperature after I shut it off. Next car is going to have a grey or tan interior.

release the service brake between setting the parking brake and either releasing the clutch or putting the vehicle in park. It puts the weight of the vehicle on the parking brake.

One trick I have developed to keeping older cars is to just fix them when they break and to just replace worn out parts. I don’t know how many people I’ve talked to that are thinking about replacing their car because it needs shocks and struts. One guy said he wanted to get a new car because his current one needed

I like the exteriors of infinities and don’t care much that they haven’t changed much. I can see the car-buying public being uninterested in an unrefreshed car though. Also not sure about the interiors, but I’m sure they need updating because tech moves fast.

If they figure out that you did commit crimes, “but the crimes aren’t really why they were out to get me” is not a great defense.

Pretty sure 90% of the potatoes I cook have had eyes removed from them. I’ve never experienced what you’re talking about. I think you should be looking at what else you ate that night as the cause of your distress.

Since his main sponsor’s name is now on the team, you can bet they are paying the team for him to be there.

It’s too bad Hulkenburg couldn’t find a similar gig.

Of course it was political. The thing is, the calls to the prosecutor were made because of political reasons, but the crimes that are alleged to have happened have only to do with his pocket book, not a merger Renault or Nissan. He did the crimes seperate. He only got caught because he pissed off the wrong people.

Well yeah, no one acts against their own self interest, even the criminals. No way he’s going to stand there and encourage them to put him in jail. Twisted or not, it’s common knowledge that Japan does this, yet he STILL decided to break their laws. I have a feeling the conviction rate has something to do with the

Nice. Rich guy goes to a country and breaks their laws, then escapes their justice system using his vast wealth to pay off multiple pilots and a private ‘security’ agency. Cue all of the people admiring him for standing up to a supposed unfair system for crimes he likely committed. “BuT hE’s InNoCeNt UnTiL pRoVeN

For some warning when the power band is going to hit and to avoid hitting the rev limiter?

Because it’s their job to show you the product. Also the test ride would not take up an hour of a sale person’s time because they don’t accompany you like they do on a car test drive. They don’t hop on the back with you and try to yell over the wind about the truecoat.

Agree mostly with this, but you can definitely stand on rear sets too. They aren’t behind you unless you are riding a full on drag bike. They are directly below your hip joins in most casual riding situations.
