Also Alvaro Bautista is killing it on his rookie season in WSBK after a long, mediocre, career in MotoGP. So far Jonathan Rae, the reigning and 4-time world champ can only muster second place.

By all means, let’s give advocates more ammo showing autonomous vehicles should replace humans. It won’t be government that forces AVs, it will be the insurance companies.
Drove a rental fiesta sometime in the last year that I think falls under your ‘boring’ category. Sorry, I disagree. That thing was garbage. Steering was garbage. Brakes were OK. Had to floor it to get on the highway or pass at a reasonable pace. Probably because of a combination of both the engine having no power AND…
Let’s not forget that they are a prominent sponsor of the factory Ducati MotoGP team too.
Maybe that explains why the Supra is rated for less power than the Z4. Less stress on the internals for longer service life.
Ha! Sounds like someone has owned a bimmer with some miles on it. You just told the story of my car. Let’s not forget preemptive radiator and surge tank replacement.
The water flowing around the tires looks wrong. It’s not flowing around them like it seems like it should. Also those are some rough seas for no water droplets anywhere on the car.
That car is definitely photoshopped on that beach.
Nice. Plastic chain guides. No one has ever had trouble with that in an older engine.
Holy shit. That whole thing sucks, but the engine directly from Toyota?
I know, right? The thing would last another 30 years after that. Hell, it’d probably outlast the availability of gasoline.
Yeah. I’d only agree to a diagnostic teardown if I was standing there. Even if they do find what’s clogged, what’s to stop them from unclogging it and saying it was just bad luck?
Man, supra owners are going to have a GREAT time with toyota techs working on their BMW engines....
Also, since it was there, a dip in the hot tank would have cleaned that thing right up.
Glad this worked out. I remember doing this to a small block. Lapping suuuuucks. Also the seats on mine were so rusted no amount of lapping helped.
Nah. I hated the bubbly styling. I think the newest ones are the best looking. The old ones reminded me of a VW beetle.
While this sucks, it’s not surprising. It’s not a practical only-car and less and less people can afford multiple cars these days, especially expensive ones. That’s one reason that the GTI and the WRX are going strong. You can own just either of one of those and live with it.
It’s a valid comparison. They are the same price. If the livewire was $15k then the comparison would be ridiculous, but comparing a non-existent $30k motorcycle to a rare $30k motorcycle seems fair.
Nooooooo.... Damn it.
Yep. Restaked and spin balanced and everything. They even represent that thy use OEM parts. Should last at least as long as the original one did. No grinding, cutting, pounding, maybe breaking things or bending ears. Considering a whole new assembly is $1,700, it’s not bad. Putting a new rack in mine cost me over $600…
