When I started on Jalopnik 12 years ago, C&D print magazine redesigned their layout and cut their page count in half around the same time. My issues piled up in a corner instead of being devoured on day one. Coupled with their disinterest in soliciting renewals, there was no longer any reason to stick with it.

Car and Driver is about the only car mag I can read anymore. They still have that sense of humor and variety of articles that originally attracted me to them. Plus, they actually review cars I could potentially drive, not just supercars. I hope this isn’t as bad as it sounds.
