@Maxximtl: lol. not even if it was god herself

@dwag3: lol, best post so far!

It reminds me of a cold war soviet era response to the ipad.

Its totally useless and annoying.

@38thsignal: Completely agree, Video in a nano? Always seemed insane. Step in the right direction? a leap and back in the right direction,

Google, HP, Samsung, Toshiba and just about the entire computer industry join forces and resources and STILL Fail with a capital F.

I have an irrational desire to have one even though my old one works just fine. The true mark of either genius or evil product design.

This thing is going to sell out fast!

@Squalor: Totally agree. Other than that one show you just gotta watch, the$25. for Dish or Directv with dvr sounds like a bargain compared to that. Add $9 dollars for Netflix and you are still way ahead of the game.

For cad, illustration and photo software + a stylus this would be immersive as hell.

@bloknayrb: You're right I really need to get rid of the awful storm 2. But I think if Apple releases a 7" Ipad I will just get a regular cheap phone and use the pad for on-the-go email and webrowsing....and as a remote for my apple TV ;)

@bloknayrb: I was afraid you's ask lol

QNX is capable of running on ARM and on almost any CPU, it is fast and small. Coupled with the fact that there are already a lot of developers working on the platform so to me this makes a lot of sense. It may even supplant OS6 on the handsets.

@bloknayrb: I guess it boils down to preference. I personally find it torturous to use my phone but for the simplest things while I'm out and about away from a PC or other option. My phone is never my first option other than to make a call or look up a number.

@bloknayrb: Well i dont think of it as a replacement for a laptop, more like making a TV self contained without hooking it up to a computer, cable box, slingbox etc. to do a lot of what new technology allows. Netflix, itunes, news, search, video on demand, pay per view, check email, the possibilities are endless, but

@tylerbrainerd: I find it almost torturous to use a phone size device for anything other than calling. or address book. Especially if there is a full size computer or other option readily available.

A 7" ipad makes perfect sense. Better platform for people on the go, have on your night stand, use as remote for apple tv, gaming platform, school and work companion. But most importantly it would allow Apple to charge a premium on future 9.7" (retina display) ipad upgrades and still have an affordable entry level pad.

Nice! Still better than most cartoons.

Well at least it's good to see that both Gizmodo & Techcrunch are offering free advice sternly warning Apple of what lies ahead.
