Think how much money was wasted on cars, at all, in those early days. Cars that, at the time, were barely any faster than horses. And what people really wanted wasn’t a car, anyway, but a faster horse.

I think it is more to smooth out the demand curve.  More to encourage people to come in at off peak times than to discourage the peak traffic.

Ahhh, well, at least they learned the lesson that life itself is just a a big disappointment in the end.

No it’s completely because they want the subscription for updates. Otherwise they’d have an app that you can download map updates from your phone through bluetooth.

If you bought any car between 2021 and 2022, you lost shitton of money as is. The time when the markup was insane since everyone suddenly needed a car, a lot of values plummeted.

The obvious answer is a BMW 850i, a Maserati Quattroporte, or any heavily depreciated Mercedes with a V12. Cars that people will obviously be cross-shopping with the Nissan Versa.
