Oh yes. He's definitely the whole… Package ;)

This.
It's been a while since I watched this episode so the details are foggy, but I believe when Wolfgang confronted his uncle he also implied that his father did something heinous to him (sexual abuse? Or maybe his dad was responsible for his mother's demise?) and that his uncle knew and did nothing about it.
Some fans have been speculating the blockade was a way of hinting the fact that Riley might be the most powerful sensate of the crew, a cluster mom of sorts much like Angelica was.
I think they only do that with more popular shows because they don't want to risk diluting the commentariat too much when we barely have the numbers to keep one comment section alive as it is.
Max Riemelt tho. I would leave the family I don't have in a heartbeat if he so much as winked in my general direction, I can't really blame Kala here ;)
It was horrifying, but I also found it very moving and enlightening.
Fair enough. I'll take quality over quantity :) (or rather, over immediateness).
Also, I could not stop gaping at how hauntingly beautiful the aerial shots of Riley walking through the mountains with her baby were. The way the wind carried the snow, the lighting as the sun came up, the crudeness of the mountains and just the way they handled the camera (and the cuts) in that scene made me rewind…
Yes! Lots of critics nowadays have the bad habit of getting so carried out discussing tangential (and even personal) things about the Wachowskis that it often feels like I'm reading a review of their lives rather than their work at hand. Glad that wasn't the case here.
Please! I believe that will also cut back on the whole spoilers problem, like I think it did for the Daredevil reviews. Rarely saw any spoilers on those.
Now that she has proved she's got the chops for it, I demand Kala become the Heisenberg of the group. Maybe then she will be a better match for Wolfie's daredevil persona :)
Thank you Rowan. Whether I agreed with you or not, I always found your reviews almost as thought-provoking as the show itself. Hope to see ya back next season!
Nice catch!
Eh, I thought this was gonna provide some circumstantial reasons as to why this year's Tour de France was supposed to specially merit my attention. But if it's just gonna be same old, same old I'll have to decline.
Well of course. Anyone that knows, even in the vaguest sense, of Frank Castle shouldn't expect anything less than a long, bloody hell of a fight in order to bring him down; and I wouldn't have it any other way. As he currently is, Matty doesn't stand a chance, and I can't help but get excited in anticipation of the…
Shouldn't you be glad then that he seems to be the antagonist for next Season? You already stand against everything he represents, which is half the work of what makes a good antagonist already done, and you get to see Matty kick his ass!
I dunno, each birth had such unique circumstances surrounding it that I kept marveling all throughout the sequence at however many fucking ways there are to have a baby!
You are right, but my point is that Jonas is too chill for someone in captivity in enemy's territory. Suspiciously chill. And always so cooperative in affairs that don't seem to improve his situation or benefit him in any apparent way. Guy is up to something.
I mean, Will basically handed him over to the BPO and yet Jonas is all like "No biggie." Huh? Really? You ain't even mad? Something is definitely up.
