A few notes on The Goldbergs I picked up…
- Bev's outfit towards the end with the blue jacket and white button-up. That looks SOOO much like Teri Garr's character in Mr. Mom, when she has to dress up for her job.

Although the Shaq reference is nice, and I can't wait until probably next season when Eddie goes ape-shit crazy for KaZaam, but you can't help to wonder what 23yr old would be approved to purchase a car dealer? He may have money, but he doesn't have business experience.
(assuming this is the 1995 early-years Shaq).

Animal jokes are hilarious. I love how they make bacon jokes about Piggy, bear jokes about Fozzy & Bobo, frog jokes about Kermit, dog-related jokes with Rolf, and misc jokes about Gonzo among others. Having them pretty much self-aware as opposed to be 'human-like in muppet form' makes it all that much funnier.

Some times, I just got to laugh out loud at just the whole concept of these Muppets & their portrayal on life, how it's sort of a mock-u-mentary. I don't know if I had the case of the giggles or what, but I found it hilarious when Kermit was being interviewed in the dark and Fozzie was peering through the window

A doped up Fozzie is funnier than a regular Fozzie trying to do stand-up.

Well, as long as you don't throw it in the washing machine with your towels or spill some ketchup on it, I'm sure they'd last a while.

That's the name… Digit. I was close.
Loved The Jim Henson Hour, as it introduced some new characters yet kept the appeal of the old Muppet Show with the various skits. The blue/green screen was a little cheesy, though.

OMFG, I am in HEAVEN!
I love Bob's Burgers, and I loooooove Pinball FX2 (or Zen Pinball, whatever).
This is going to be epic.

You may very well be right. I was curious as to how they got some of those flimsy arms to move when you can't see the wire. It's not as if the wire would have detracted from the show, as we've gotten used to them since the Sesame Street & original Muppet Show days.

A doped up Fozzie was hilarious. Him with finding his hat, his slurred speech. These Muppets are a little more edgy, but they're just as funny as they've always been… and they don't break out in song & dance.

She's a celebrity… she wouldn't spend a day in jail.

I like Chip… he's weird. Reminds me a little of Data from that revised Muppet show back in 1990. His pupils blinking, however, is a little creepy.

I personally think they have a bunch of new ones (although they stated that Rolf is the original from Henson's days). If you noticed, Kermit doesn't have the hard wires attached to his arms anymore. Not sure how they move them, but it's not the same as before. Fozzie looks somewhat from the original, but his eyes have

I love this show and can't see how it deserves a C rating.
It's just hilarious with the interaction of all the Muppets together, but a couple of lines killed it for me.
After Fozzie asking Kermit if he's ever been tranqulized before, Kermit responds "No, but I've licked my 3rd cousin before and the walls were melting"…

When you lose Cringer & Orko… you know you're film is going to fall flat.
Not to mention by 1987, they had She-Ra (she was nowhere in sight) and all her awesome enemies from The Evil Horde (Hordak, Leech, & Mantenna, to name a few).

The article seems to end a little prematurely.

I loved the Bender cameo as in the Futurama crossover, he's still shut down for another 985 years, give or take.

I genuinely loved this episode more than any other throughout the "season". It was intense, had a lot going on, and oodles & oodles of zombies.

That's kind of what I'm sad for. Love the 80's toy nostalgia. It brings back the good ol' days. No more GoBots, GI Joe, LEGO (80's LEGOs), Transformers, Hot Wheels (hmm, I don't remember Goldbergs covering that), or other retro toys. However, we still have plenty of pop-culture references to look forward to. More
