Quite a lot of the vents on the R8 facelift are fake for some reason. I am guessing you watched the carfection review where he shows them. At least i think it was carfection.
I’m only miserable about not having a clutch pedal. For me it’s required as it makes driving so much better (even in traffic jams). I’ll keep trying to have one as long as I can. All the other stuff about body styles, low profile tyres, turbocharging etc doesn’t bother me.
Mild hybrid and turbocharging are restoring…
The main reason I wanted the nav in my 2016 2 series is relatively vain. The non-navigation screen was small and cheap looking and it also added more information to the instrument cluster. The bigger screen is much nicer even though I almost never use the maps.
I only bring up the maps when I can’t find my way the last…
If true, this is what we want. Keep the manuals alive by making people pay more for them. I’m okay with it so I can get that sweet, sweet tactile sensation.
They just want to know that you still care.
I dunno. The gauges in my old E30 seemed to work just fine and 30 years seems like a good life span...
But you could also get that with a newer 911 with the turbo flat six and then it won’t sound like Subaru’s used to.
I did see a BRZ at an autocross the other week where the guy had put the flat four sound back into it and it was much better.
But who apart from an avid Supra fan would buy this over an M2C?
A car that gets you +70hp, better brakes, short trip useful rear seats, better looks, a clutch pedal etc.
I just can’t see how you wouldn’t choose the M2C.
I really have a hard time even contemplating the Supra when the M2C exists. It fulfills all of the criteria set by the Supra but with more of everything, including a clutch pedal.
People got really mad at me on BMW forums when, after Mercedes announced their I6, I commented and said that MB have saved the I6 engine format.
I have yet to be proven wrong.
The eggs you’re eating are $1/dozen?!
in 2013 I bought a 97 Corolla with a manual and proceeded to put 20000 miles on it in 10 months. They were not an easy 20k. It was a 50 mile round trip commute to work over winding mountain-ish roads where I relentless beat on it all day every day. We took it offroading on trails that recommended 4x4s.
Literally…
Do we have an estimated time frame when manufacturers will stop giving electric cars ridiculous naming schemes?
You forgot to trademark the EXTREME!
Factory built with a factory wiring harness/ancillaries is worth some money. I’d still save the $10k for a Hellcat crate engine if I wanted Mopar stuff.
In the end I’d buy an LS7 though.
What about a scooter or small capacity bike?
I was too drunk on the 700hp minivan high.
Hell-Pacifica
You can get a 2SS 1LE for about $8-10000 off sticker though because they are not selling.
Doesn’t make ‘em pretty, just makes ‘em cheap.
