I’ll say it - I can’t afford a new car at $18K. I was lucky to get a car valued at about $8K. If the home costs had not risen so much since the recession, I might be in a good place, but in my area they’ve gone up 50% and my wages have gone up ~10-20% in the same time frame.

No one’s being forced into new cars. It’s easier than ever to find used cars in basically any price range.

Even as a parent who deeply, wholeheartedly loves my children....this is a very condescending take.

There’s no such thing as a quintessential “human experience”, let alone one made whole by breeding. Your comment has a whiff of cognitive dissonance.

As are people who don’t have to live through a horrible hardship. Not living the,”full range of the human experience.” is a very odd basis for an opinion.

Considering the fact that all of the rich people’s money is created by the labor of workers..... who’s “stealing” from whom?

hell yeah, fuck this “weekend” thing those commies are talking about

How does that boot taste, bud?

and this “weekend” thing they’re talking about sounds like it might destroy the manufacturing industry

No, workers do not need unions, workers need to form their own organizations, independent of the unions and the two capitalist parties

Don’t you mean standing aviation?

Being an adult means you can choose to throw dignity out of the window of your mid 90s Chrysler. No wrong turns if they are intentional and not harming anyone else.

Sounds like the biggest dick move is your city council not building proper bike lanes.

Low budget, vacation options including drinking Starbucks and Trader Joes...

Also a good way to get themselves killed. One of the reasons you can’t ride a bike on a sidewalk is that you come up so fast that cars can’t see you when they turn. Good way to get run over.

Also is this one of those extensions that sounds fun at first but later you find out they were key logging everything you did?

Having to fight every invasive and Orwellian technology that keeps getting shoved down the throat of the individual citizen is overwhelming, demoralizing and exhausting.

TAX PAYER FUNDED PROFESSIONAL SPORTS STADIUMS! (This works for lots of cities.)

It is good to know what you're getting into. Still, in my opinion, if you're choosing where to get a tattoo based on how much it hurts, I'd say you're doing it wrong.
