I'm not dissing the science or it's usefulness. It's just a very expensive tool. The whole MSL Curiosity program is $2.5 billion. I am a little disappointed inside that none of the images will be what our eyes might be able to see (with enough contrast adjustment). That's why I don't consider it a replacement to

Because a tie would have been enough if Ghana lost, provided Portugal doesn't score like half a dozen goals against Ghana, or an already-clinched Germany with nothing to play for did the same to the U.S.

Earth-Sun L2 is 1.5 million miles away. That's 3.9x the distance from the Earth to the Moon. Maybe you are thinking of the Earth-Moon L2 which is only 60,000 KM beyond the Moon.

My biggest fear is something going wrong. Leak in the coolant supply like what happen with WIRE or premature failure of reaction wheels like we've seen in Hubble but now with absolute no capability to repair them, since the JWST will be at the Earth-Sun L2. Compared to Hubble's life span, JWST will have a very

Phoenix Tso, please stop tricking your readers with misleading titles. You know, some of us actually read the articles.

"Her case was thrown out in 2012...." "It's good she's finally getting some justice."

There's so much bullshit on this site that I've gone from being frustrated by it to becoming strangely fascinated. I guess "Dov Charney Was Fired For Making An Employee 'Sex Slave'" gets way more clicks than the actual story - so cynical.

Um, the headline says he was fired for making an employee his "sex slave", but in the article it says her case accusing him of that was thrown out of court. It sounds more like he was fired for having posted her nude photos on a blog. Another misleading headline...

Why are all your articles so clickbaity and dishonest? Please tell the truth, just try it once, you may like it.

Dov is a nasty asshole, but if you read up on the whole case, she really doesn't come across as someone who was forced into sex with him. I am sure that he has made the women working for him uncomfortable and I am sure that he has used his position to manipulate some of them into having sex with him, but Irene seems

This headline seems to contradict what's in this article. They didn't fire him for making her his sex slave, or affirm that they believed her allegations at all, but for impersonating her online, which is illegal.

"This was an extremely dishonest article."

He didn't. Accusing him of that was just some nonsense that Morales' lawyer tried to pull. The blog posts are still up actually.

He's definitely narsty (that's a technical term), but she wasn't a sex slave. This is ridiculous. They had an affair.

You forgot to mention this part:

Awesome job condemning the uninvolved husband more than the woman who (allegedly) beat the shit out of her family members. Sort of sounds like she may be a serial shithead too...

No but I actually used to read that blog, and I read all the texts and messages. It was extremely convincing and the timeline was impossible to ignore. She is full of crap.

You should really read more about that Irene Morales accusation. She was extremely full of shit.

He was *accused* of holding her as a sex slave, and he posted the pictures (and texts and emails) on that blog to prove her wrong. Even Jezebel did a story putting her story into question. Irene Morales was easily the most full of shit accuser he had. She was the one who continuously offered sex over text messages

Call me old fashioned, a luddite, or simply crazy... I want to keep living in a dumb house.
