Obviously, this isn't the same, but:
13 is that awkward age anyhow where you are just hormonal and crabby and testing authority just because you can. I know the last thing I would want to do would be to go on TV and do an interview with one of my parents. Especially since those two can look back now and realize how big of a train wreck things became. …
a girl friend of mine used to see a female OBGYN. "Dr. Bush"
But anytime I saw him try to do anything at all, around the house or with the kids, she was right there bitching about how he was doing everything wrong. Even in the confessional/interviewy portions of their show, she was constantly talking over him, correcting him, rolling her eyes at him. Of course he was checked…
Dude, that was my first question. Muffley? I was wondering if this story was fiction just because of that. </runs off snickering a la Beavis>
BRB, dying laughing.
We must have been watching different shows. He did just as much as her when it came to child care. They both seem like jerks, especially post divorce, but he was a hands on dad.
I cannot wait for the tell-all biography those girl are going to write in five years.
He only wanted Mady and Cara. He was done after 2, but she wanted more, and he went along with it and wound up with 8. Not an excuse, but it explains quite a lot about their dynamic.
Bless. At least she realizes it's their age, and not them. It took my parents like their first three kids to realize that your daughter is just going to be an intense puddle of hormones and angst at 13 and it doesn't necessarily mean she's turned into some sort of evil spawn.
Well there you have it folks. The show didn't screw them up one bit. At all. Not even a little.
Serves Kate right. She shouldn't force the kids to be on TV and do interviews if they don't want to be on TV and do interviews. If Kate wants to be a famewhore, by all means, go for it. But the kids are old enough now to opt out.
I kinda forget about the older girls, but man do I feel bad for them. With their parents, they're probably stuck with being extra responsible for the younger sibs. (Normal in the sea of crazy and all that jazz).
Do people at Jezebel not understand photography and lighting? Must this be an issue every single time a person with some melanin has a photo shoot.
Lighting does weird things to the way people look. I used to be in theater and the make-up people would make me up like they were frosting a cake; they'd pile it on real thick. And a couple of shades darker than my actual complexion I might add.
I agree with this. If the person who mentioned saris and kimonos is putting on a kimono and doing a terrible "asian" accent and mentioning rice and shit, then that would be bad. If you are putting on a kimono, because you like the style, find the clothes comfortable, and aren't trying to pretend your a Geisha girl,…
That's exactly what I thought and couldn't really concentrate the rest of the article.
There's a Dr. Bush that's a gyno here in Pensacola. I was 32 years old, sitting in her waiting room, giggling and texting that to all my friends.
My first reaction also. Solid showing.
