Japanese reggae has been around for over 20 years. They’ve got a nice scene out there. Good stuff. BTW, to all you Kotaku guys, Japan is more than anime and games. They actually have artist who aren’t part of the geek culture there. Open your minds some.

Off the subject. I can get down with this. Love the rhythm. Japan’s reggae scene is AWESOME, but I never really got why it’s so popular there. I understand Okinawa, but the prevalence in the mainland was something else. Don’t get me wrong, Japanese reggae artist have some pretty good stuff when it comes to roots.…
