Graham has plenty of healthy years left. But I have a feeling that certain compromising information and media will be leaked in short order. My only hope is that he isn’t allowed a redemption arc the way so many “disgraced” Republicans have been.
Trump has turned everything into a political football. Everything.
McConnell knows his clock is running out, and that he’s got a particularly warm spot in hell waiting for him. He’s going to try to drag the rest of us down with him before he punches his card.
Nope. I’m right there with you.
This young man has what we call “a punchable face.”
John Deere has created insane market inflation for its older models and parts as a result of its no-right-to-repair insanity.
Guessing the person that made the threat is a member of the police force.
The biggest issue I have with Uber/Lyft “winning” here is that they’re extremely opaque about their algorithms. They apparently reward a certain type of driver and punish those that don’t “play the game.” What this ends up meaning in reality is that the true “gig worker” types don’t get any fares because they’re all…
I like these, but the price is just too much on this one. ND.
I honestly don’t think I’m going to eat anything. Unless drinking vodka counts as eating.
I just got back from voting. I live in what we call a “township,” which is a loosely-incorporated area that doesn’t have much of a municipal government at all. There’s a town hall, and that’s where voting in person takes place. In the 3 years I’ve lived here, I’ve never had to wait even 30 seconds to verify my name…
If there is demand for an all-electric Super Duty, they will definitely make one. I don’t see anything unreasonable about them taking a wait-and-see approach here. If for some reason an electric F-150 doesn’t sell very well, it would be absolute madness for them to forge ahead with a heavy-duty electric truck. For my…
Took the words from right out of my fingers. If this guy is serious about esoterica, he’s GOT to get a Phaeton.
There’s definitely an aspect of sweaty, desperate, forced enthusiasm. It may just be my own bias here, but what I see from these people is an oddly-skewed perception of the world around them. A lot of these people will only leave their exurban/rural cocoon a few times a year, if that. Their world is shaped by a steady…
I’m not sure a vehicle like that qualifies as a “sleeper.” I think of a sleeper as the sort of vehicle that doesn’t draw any attention to itself until it’s at WOT and leaving flashier vehicles in the dust.
I’m thinking 12, though the remaining 2-3 years will be seen out by Don Jr, who will reign until his demon spawn is groomed and ready to continue Making America Great.
100% with you on this. I completely understand the appeal of an e-bike for folks that don’t have the luxury of shower facilities at the work end of their commutes. I’ve met folks over the years that had to find very creative ways around this. One guy found an industrial strength fan that he’d stand in front of…
Fellow Minnesotan here, one that lives in basically an exurb. There have been impromptu Trump rallies popping up since last this summer. The most typical was a group of enthusiastic flag wavers posting up on an overpass and basically “partying,” with a boom box and lots of white “dancing” and jumping around. More…
A few years back, I undertook a nearly 20-mile each way bike commute during a 6-month contract. It was a phenomenal way to stay in shape without having to think about it. Big ups to that client for having full shower facilities on-site.
