Is he now stuck with a massive tax bill as a result of that gift?  He should sell the new rig and keep ol’ trusty.

IT STANDS FOR ARMALITE RIFLE NOT ASSAULT RIFLE THEREFORE YOUR ARGUMENT IS NULL AND VOID

99.9999% chance his parents were highly supportive of his political and ideological viewpoints.  They probably gifted him that rifle.

The problem will always be the batteries.

I was gonna be like “FOUR ITRs??!” then I looked at your username. Not sure about present day, but when 240s were relatively new, they were super ubiquitous and relatively cheap. Even with the “sWeEt jDm fRoNt cLiP sWaP” crowd putting pressure on the supply. Somewhat related: I wonder how many 240s were bought under

I really have to think that most of the sub-6 figure examples are just the price of nostalgia. Either getting a super clean example of their first “real” car, or finally obtaining the car they dreamed of when it was new(ish), but couldn’t afford. I understand that in the abstract, but as a relatively unsentimental

“Influencer culture” was always going to be the next logical step of the Reality TV era. I never really got swept up by any of the popular reality shows, but it became obvious to me just how pervasive the format was when a friend’s band was featured on a reality show about low-level MMA fighters. It aired on one of

Trump could wipe his flabby ass with the family bible and the evangelical idiots would still vote for him with a smile.

The Lions are always in contention for any “Tank for ____” contest.  But then their “Patriot Way” General Manager decides to play 7-dimensional chess and uses the first pick to draft a promising young long snapper out of Bowling Green.

I’ve always gotten the impression that Trump fears his inevitable death more than the average human being.  But now I’m wondering if he sees the presidency as a way to run out the clock while continuing to live in comfort.

I desperately want to know what caused the smoke/steam from under the hood.  I’ve been impatiently waiting since you first grammed the video!

It’s incredibly problematic that this type of food is this cheap, for a number of reasons. The fact that it’s unhealthy for a number of reasons (antibiotics in the meat, and massive amounts of fat and sodium) is the obvious one. But the more insidious issue is that it misleads the general public about what real food sh

Rivian doesn’t have the payola of the Big 3.  Simple as that.

Found a photo of the new CEO:

I got the same line of BS when I went to buy my RAM.  I pushed back on it, and the prepackaged line was “Oh, those aren’t RAM parts, they only make the engine and transmission. So you can’t really trust them.”  It doesn’t change the bottom line: you’re telling me that you’re selling a bad product.

I’m sure there’s some intrinsic value to an extended warranty. What bothers me about what dealers push with new cars is that it’s incredibly disingenuous. Say you buy a Jeep. You get 3 years and 36,000 miles of bumper to bumper coverage by default. The dealer will pitch you a 5 year/60,000 mile warranty, which sounds

This is highly topical. I bought a new truck last week after 4 blissful years of Jeeping. I’ve bought a lot of cars from dealerships over the years, and the final stage of this particular purchase was exhausting at best and troubling at worst.

Trucks basically look like spaceships now. Is it even possible to buy a “basic” truck anymore?

I’d like to hear more about this. Is it the same sort of racket that traditional dealers try to pull? Undercoating, interior treatments and supplemental warranties? It seems even more suspect that an exclusively pre-owned place would play the warranty game. I was honestly astonished by how brazenly the finance/upsell
