At this point in smartphone history, it doesn’t look like an iPhone, it just looks like a phone.

It is weird that they are doing that, too, since the Nexus 6 had a tiny bezel on the bottom... most of it taken up by the bottom front speaker.

I think it bears pointing out that except for Japan, the ten countries with better LTE coverage than the United States are all smaller than California, and a couple of them (Hong Kong and Singapore) are, in fact, cities.

High speed rail is very real in many other countries. US is the only place that somehow can’t figure it out.

Weirdly, Trump was the most progressive person on stage last night when it came to economic inequality. Reproductive rights, too. It was like Twilight-Zone-level weirdness when I realized that I was rooting for Trump, because he sounded downright reasonable on those topics compared to his opponents.

The only version that had crippled software was the original Surface with Windows RT. The rest of them ran Windows, I think the problem with Surface 1 and 2 Pro was hardware - it was too fat with too small a screen, not quite a laptop and not quite a tablet. Surface Pro 3 fixed that.
