Regarding Hillary Duff - If you live in a building with other people and some of them smoke pot and you complain about it, you’re an asshole. It’s akin to complaining about smelling other people’s cooking in the hall, just fucking shut up. You know she talked to the building management about it before and they said,

So, I’m pushing this theory out with the hopes someone could explain why I’m wrong: William has given up/become destructive towards the immortality dream because the clones of his wife committed suicide as well.

If Cookie Masterson hasn’t convinced us of that by now, than nothing will.

“Would Oprah send her kids to public school”

The embrace of this particular celebrity running for public office and the condemnation of (the idea) of Oprah running for public office (an idea, to be honest, I think is equally ill advised as Nixon’s bid, the rock or any other celebrity) among the Chapo Traphouse/Splinter contributor/ wannabe, know-nothing

I don’t know if this should really be called gentrification. It’s weed going corporate... which is the inevitable evolution of any successful legal product in a capitalist country. It’s like when your favorite restaurant becomes successful, opens up 5 new restaurants, and becomes like every other mediocre restaurant.

those tins are cute. rich people gotta buy weed too, why not at ridiculous mark-ups like everything else

I only watched the first movie (and it was terrible, not sure why Jez staff keeps promoting this dumb series unless they’re getting paid?) but that was literally the entire plot.

Since the first one, isn’t it?

That’s actually kinda the plot in the second and third movies.

The show is in no way pro-Trump. If anything, it makes fun of the culture shift and the age gap between the progressive younger generation and the often conservative older generations. The second episode is actually pretty explicitly pro-LGBTQ in its embrace of their gender non-conforming grandson. It’s just not at

I suspect the author didn’t watch the episode to the point where Jackie confessed* to voting for Jill Stein.

She did, I suspect the author didn’t watch the whole episode.

I think this is easily the best of these classic sitcom revivals. There are a lot of bitter people that can’t separate the politics from the fact that this show pretty much exactly captures the tone of the original run of the show. It’s great so far.

Next time do. not. post.

Didn’t Jackie say she voted for Jill Stein???

Ok I just have to chime in and correct the fact that Jackie was in fact NOT a Hillary voter... It was kind of an important plot point of the episode.

I don’t think you understand what the word “literally” means.

As a man, this kind of argument is super weird to me, and I’ve really been baffled by the way men are reacting to this story.

Jezebel, What Are You Doing? Days of silence on the topic, and then what comes forth is not actually the thinkpiece on sexual coercion and the “ways consent can feel blurring”, on how predators purposefully use bullshit excuses about “miscommunication” to get away with it, about how Ansari is more representative of
