Totally agree on the “checklist simulator”.  When a game stops being about fun, and starts being about completing arbitrary tasks, I totally check out. Playing the campaign was fun, I enjoyed MP for a bit, but wow, did this game throw a lot of checklists at you after that.

If you are the type of person who thinks a death threat is an appropriate reaction to a delay, you are just a total piece of shit.

i fixed it for you

My 1060 cuts through Hades just fine, so I’m good for a bit. I tried to snag a 3080 on launch, but found the experience so incredibly off-putting that I’ve basically written off the hunt for one until I no longer need to use Now In Stock alerts. I’ll just clear out my indie backlog for the next few months.

Nice for them to add content, I guess... now if only the game actually fun to play.

I’ve had the game on PC for a few years. I gave it a try a few times, including in VR, to see if I could finally enjoy it, since every big update seems to have added interesting stuff.... but no. No matter how much fancy stuff they add,

Im sure someone will do better

I don’t really know anything about these people or the situation, nor do I really care to look into it at all lol, but based on what I read up there it sounded consensual? Unless you’re talking about their ages...but I mean, 15 and 20 (which let’s face it, isn’t exactly some huge age gap) is legal in a lot of places,

Destiny 1 was so good, up through the second expansion. It’s some of the most fun I’ve ever had in multiplayer with friends.

I suppose this is what happens when your game is an interactive junk drawer full of things that never actually mattered. It’s peak Destiny that so much is being removed. When it comes to Destiny 2, the only thing that has ever seemed to matter to Bungie is the moment. The Destiny universe is a mess, so it’s not

And any time Call of Duty has a broken gun that gives away easy kills, it quickly becomes the gun loadout that everyone wants to use. Just beware if you’re headed into a battle royale match in the near future, and don’t let opponents sneak too close—they’ll likely have the FR 5.56 in their hands.

Now playing

So....I did that earlier today. In my defense I didn’t think it would work. But here we are, and I’m a jellybean murderer.

I’ve found it easy to get into games.

Some people like rainbows. I like rainbows.

I would play the hell out of an open world, post apocolyptic pokemon game.

But seeing the direction the series is trending in, I doubt we’ll ever get anything that interesting or creative.

While I have been playing Destiny 2 for only a year I am still baffled by the way Bungie is making people regrind weapons which everyone already had a god rolls.

While I get the idea behind sun-setting and why Bungie feel like they need to do it, in practice it sucks. As it is, everything in my current loadout is capped at 1060, so it’ll eventually all be completely obsolete, which is total bullshit and flies in the face of their own “play however you like” line from a while

Oh Christ. I bought the new expansion to play with a buddy during these ronatimes, and the initial gap between power levels was shocking enough. Then came that all my old gear was basically crap and required a whole new system to infuse. Now it’s that they can’t even be infused to a high enough level to be worth it.

Every few months there’s a new Destiny 2 headline that has me like “...excuse me?

If they release an all black version it might not look quite as bad.

You do know what happens to white plastics after a few years right?
