I know, right? That is sooo last summer. Hey Lynch, the Kardashians called - they want their schtick back.

James was always a headliner…
I've enjoyed this season so much to this point I might still smile if the last five hours is just a montage of scenes of Dougie pooping at various locales. I exaggerate, but it has earned my leeway. I think the biggest difference between those who love it vs. hate it boils down to expectations and lack thereof.
I think the looping fight was a video of the scene recorded over and over on VHS, When it loops there is a sound that certainly reminds me of the type of stuff I would get dubbing tapes with two VCRs back in the pre-digital age, when you pause both, rewind the "play" tape, and hit record again on the other. But maybe…
I wondered if you were serious or not. I just gave up on the idea of getting old school Agent Dale Cooper back to normal many episodes ago, and have been much happier in my viewing ever since. So it pains me to see people whine about Dougie, let alone be mistaken for one of those malcontents who thinks we can somehow…

I'm quite happy with Dougie myself. My comment was meant to point out that Dougie really hasn't shown any more of Cooper than he did 10 episodes ago (with the possible exception of the takedown of Ike the Spike), yet anytime he does anything, someone claims they can see him coming back just a little more than last…
Agreed. "There’s more of Special Agent Cooper in his expression than ever before," -Emily Stephens, every time Dougie is on screen for more than 30 seconds at a time.
That's because it IS an 18-hour movie. Lynch was being quite literal when he made that proclamation, and it is showing.
New and interesting theory…
(Sorry for the snark, but not really).
Don't you think it would have been mentiined when Truman talked to Doc Hayward if Audrey was still in a damn coma 25 years later? Granted, with TP, you never know for sure, but I am firmly in the camp of not a coma, whatever is going on..
Lynch "trolling" is now just shorthand for people who didn't like one of his choices not wanting to admit they didn't like it. They feel more comfortable believing they weren't supposed to like it, since it was just "trolling."
James might be cool, but that song never was. Even so, I enjoyed a moment of nostalgia while grimacing at the falsetto whine.
Closed captioning is often incorrect.
Comment on the review Stray Observations, not the episode: It's Albatross brand turkey jerky. It wasn't there before. Things look different, and men ARE coming. There is little corellation between Dr. Amp and Alex Jones. Without getting too political, Amp's golden shit-digging shovels are not misrepresented. He says…
Depends who "they" is. Mr. C would know the cops have Hastings, but not the FBI, and specifically the Blue Rose task force.
Fair enough, but I would say the "Lynch is screwing with us" motif is equally insufferable. The idea that any decision a viewer doesn't like = Lynch trolling the audience, is ridiculous.
No doubt about the cornball humor. Having been raised in a family that used bad puns and word play whenever possible, I love that aspect, from "Cooper flew the coop," to the "turnip" gag and every Bazooka Joe-style joke in between.
If it's yellow, let it mellow; if it's brown, flush it down. Unless you're Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman trying to get fired. Then reverse it.
I did give myself a little leeway in the timeframe for this reason… Every place I've ever lived in has had a ceiling fan, and all of them had such switches. But I know never to go with absolutes. That said, are you sure? They're usually not labelled. Just a little black slider that goes up and down (or left/right) on…
Bah. Lynch is not doing any of this for the sake of merely fucking with people. The actual plot is not where most of the story is. It's the journey, not the destination.
