I came here so say the exact same thing, and I suppose many other would as well. I didn’t even have a facebook account before DriveTribe, so I made one up just to log in. I go back and check DriveTribe when I am really bored and can’t sleep maybe once every few months. I have the same complaints.

My parents’s friend from high school was on the design team for this (and the Viper) and I never liked the looks until recently. I think that as I’m getting older (30’s!) it’s starting to appeal to me more and more. With the upgrades and bumper modification it’s making more sense, except for the price. I couldn’t see

That’s the way I got mine. 99% correct answers too. When my mom loved here she never passed 89% thanks for sharing your experiences!

I’ve spun out and did a full 360 on a track before. I stalled, restarted my car, came to my senses and realized that there were others on the track and quickly finished my lap. I was done for the day. Even with my experience, I can’t imagine what the driver and passenger were feeling.

I always wondered how foreigners rented cars in China. I just assumed that you didn’t... How long did it take you to get your license? I’ve had mine for about 10 years now, but I drive everyday in China. I drove for about 3 years with no license.

I’ve grown up overseas, so driving in the US seems like a foreign country. I got married in Vegas just after the Mustang came back out with the 5.0L GT a few years ago. That was my rental car for 2 weeks. It was such a fun car to drive. Big fog lights in the center, beautiful blue with a hood scoop, fat white stripe

I have an early 70’s Kustom bass amp that is covered in blue sparkle tuck and roll from the factory. This is the van that I imagine the original owner of that amp would ride around in.

I have a Camaro in a China. The taxes suck... still I am happy I bought my car when I did. I basically could have got a high end Corvette back in the states for the price of my V6 automatic Camaro in China.

That sounds like a perfect opportunity for me. Too bad I live on another continent. From the choice of music to the driving “rules” it fits me perfectly. Rocknroll_jeph is also known as straightedge_jeph in other circles.

I have owned a 03 Z4 for nearly 10 years. The second generation never had the same appeal to me, it was just too sharp and creased, and the proportions didn’t do much for me. I think the side profile of the new one are pretty good. The front and back are still too busy to me, but I’m sure those will be changed and

Wow, thanks to your comment I realized that I have been reading Jalopnik for 10 years. I remember it back in the good old days too... I even had the honor of you posting a pretty lady for me when I won the CotD about 9 years ago now. I love how even though the site changed, the staff changed, super commenters came and

I need new tires from my Z4. I have been asking people I meet at car shows, track days and auto cross events what they recommend. I even went to the Tire Rack HQ to participate in an autocross event (one of the best I’ve ever attended by the way) and talked to the guys who worked there. Finally while waiting to get an

I went through Chicago last week and they already had the new scanners running. It was so nice. The like was long but almost no one was stopped and it kept going at roughly a walking pace. I always travel with a lot of random stuff and usually need a secondary screening to look at the contents of my back pack but my

I didn’t realize they were so frequent. I also wasn’t trying to speed (Ford CUV with wife and in laws, I was playing to safe), so I wasn’t really on the look out. Next time I’ll try to be even more careful!

The UAE is doing a lot to try to turn around the image of the streets being like race tracks. With the exception of a speeding ticket my very first year driving, the only other speeding ticket I got was in Dubai earlier this year, it was for 5km/h or so over. I just got off the place and I was getting used to a new

That makes it interesting... I wonder why they aren’t body colored? Having a sacrificial and easily repairable splitter protector makes a lot of sense to me. Leaving on factory protection doesn’t.

I’ve noticed that too. I saw at least 2 driving around today with them still stuck on. I do know the pain of scratching a beautiful splitter but that risk is still better than driving around with the stickers.

It is a beautiful car and a great driver. I have had one since 2009... however age isn’t too kind to it as I am sitting in the waiting room at the BMW dealership right now while it is getting worked on. The electronic modules have been failing as soon as I get one fixed another system goes. I am getting really good at

Really? I think that list is a bit long. My Z4 doesn’t have a spare tire. I’ve never had or been in a car with a reverse camera and emergency breaking. That seems a bit excessive for a basic car. However, if you live enjoy listening to music an AM radio is not enough, in fact the country I live in doesn’t even have an

I can’t believe that Domino’s, which has its headquarters just out side of Detroit, didn’t do anything to fix up Michigan roads.
