I just spent 15 minutes reading an article and watching highlights of a punter, and I have no regrets. What a time to be alive.

Great article Dom, thank you.
Given his incredible control, and the ability under their rules for the kicking team to line players up onside who can legally recover punts, if I owned a CFL team I might try to tempt him up north. They could pull plays like this all day:
You been practicing that one for a while or did you just Wing it?
No joke Dom, I clicked this thinking there’d be some good Kinja jokes, but then I read the first couple paragraphs and was like, “Fuck, this is about punting and it’s super interesting!”
It’s obvious the team goes out of their way to feed him the ball.
You guys have no Kluwe what it takes to be a punter in the NFL. It’s not even Feagles for the average person. I knew a Guy that Landeta really good punting job and he was out of the league within weeks, his life in Rouen.
At least he’s on a terrible team in Los Angeles. Last year he was on a terrible team in St. Louis.
Calm down on the Belichick praise. I’m pretty sure he just said that to see if he could get the Jets to spend $15M on a punter in free agency. (He totally can get them to do that)
Sounds like Jeff Fisher has found the one guy to build the team around.
Dom, loved this. These kinds of articles on underappreciated pieces of football teams enrich understanding of the game. Thanks!
So, the Panthers weren’t even playing and Cam still gets blamed?
And here’s the NFL, publicizing the unsportsmanlike conduct!
Angels GM: After reviewing your MRI, we saw something with your right arm that we think might create serious issues with your ability to pitch in the future.
But McCutchen won a gold glove, that must mean he’s good at defense.
Uh, what are these “big plans for Aroldis Chapman” your headline speaks of? The Yankees are going to....have him on the team?
“Double bonus points for the fact that he’s still probably good.”
I like that the Yankees’ central plan is to get under the luxury tax....so that they can then explode the fucking luxury tax like nobody ever has before.
“It can’t be lost on Cashman that the retirement of the greatest closer in history has coincided with the team’s mediocrity over the last few years”
How do we know that Stevie Wonder didn’t call OBJ and tell him that he saw all the terrible calls that were being made. Maybe this wasn’t a joke, but a name drop.
