“Don’t worry Xbox superfans, you’ll have more black and green plastic boxes to buy in the future”

I beg to differ. Libraries of games are system sellers. At this point, most people’s entire game investment is a digital library. If I would like to continue to have access to the 1500 odd xbox games I own, I’m going to keep buying xboxes, not playstations going forward.

This is how we speak about music now, I guess. ‘Good business decisions’. Pure cynicism, and folks like AVC are fine with it.

Your mistake is in thinking Quick Resume et al as ‘system sellers’. They’re probably not.

If all of the Microsoft exclusives are going also show up on playstation and PC, remind me again what the selling point for the Xbox console itself is?

Someone might prefer Xbox-specific features like Quick Resume, the controller, free cloud saves, Play Anywhere, Smart Delivery, the UI, etc. MS also allows dev/pubs to sell keys outside of XBL/MS Store and you can pretty easily earn gift cards via MS Rewards, resulting in cheaper games.

Seems like a win-win for consumers. MS continues making Xboxes for those that prefer it while its first-party games become more accessible to a broader audience.

So Toyota was right about Hybrids are the best answer at this time?

Personally I’m a skeptic of the self driving projects but I think its a little premature to hint this was due to local animosity towards Waymo. From the description of the event it comes across more like general rioting.

We can hang it next to your "Worst Take" award!

Come on. It could have just been another VistaJet plane that was already in Tokyo. So, the story is that she had a second plane potentially ready? And didn’t use it? Also, it might not have been Taylor’s decision, but rather VistaJet. Could you imagine the bad publicity they would get if they messed her flight up?

Having a second jet on standby would have actually reduced her footprint for the trip, because it took another plane out of service.m for some period of time. Also, very likely not Swifts teams choice, but rather VistaJets as a form of insurance against a potential failure of the single most watched charter trip in

Her carbon footprint lol

I agree with you! When the Titanic hit the iceberg, everyone on board was equally responsible. The guy shoveling coal in the boiler room was steering the ship, same as everyone else. Yep.

Well at least you’re aware that your opinion is moronic. Calling for them to lose their jobs like you did demonstrates just how juvenile your view of the world is. I hope someday you’ll grow up and understand that.

The sheer number of stories we have from people that went through hell dealing with bad project managers or “leaders” of teams that would pull one way then the other, changing goals and objectives and scopes...

Hey say it as many times as you want, it’s a stupid thing to say once, might as well double down.

What? What an absurd statement. Low level developers are by and large very passionate about the industry and the projects they work on. But these people aren’t the ones making the decisions, they have bosses they have to answer to and the bosses are only after the revenue, chasing the mythical infinite GAAS. Being a

You are, once again, implying it is the fault of other people for uh, not being satisfied with a game you kinda blew through and admit yourself wasn’t great

I’m just saying as someone who also doesn’t have a lot of free time, I would prefer to spend that free time on something good.

The game has been out a week, you are done with it, and you got your $70s worth?

I mean, that’s fine, good for you, but you can’t criticize people for having higher standards for what they are expected to pay for.
