Good comment nonetheless

Drugs can also be used to describe an emotion or state of mind.

Sounds ominous

The Tunnel is creepy as fuck but Anti-Christ didn't scare me in any sense, I actually found it a bit boring. But it's because women don't scare me

Yes I have and I loved it but it's not a horror in any way. It's a thriller

The Guest is not a horror film

Yes agree, The Shining is a great example of how to score a horror film..I mean a great example of a film, period. That movie was an extremely rare feat: it had an incredibly famous actor (which can get in the way of suspension of disbelief when it comes to horror), it was meant to be a mainstream horror film and yet

Include The Lost Highway from David Lynch on that marathon and I guarantee nightmares

Awful awful film, could not understand the hype for the life of me

Cabin is great film but it is as much a horror film as Shaun of the Dead so I wouldn't include it, nor would I include The Host as well

Yeah I know but even if there was an attempt to make it more horror the high production values would be a problem, at least for me

To me the best horror movies are the ones that look "cheap". All these remakes, from Texas Chainsaw to The Haunting to Elm Street, were not effective because the production values were clearly very very high, same reason Crimson Peak is not scary.

I find incredibly difficult to feel scared by CGI effects

Everybody is enamored with retro-homages, just look at the amount of 80's tv shows and comedies. The 80's gave birth to the slasher genres so it's no wonder everybody's enamoured with this, including myself

Solid B+ to me, not great but not bad either

Which game was better, Friday The 13th or A Nightmare On Elm Street? I think Elm Street was a superior game but it was also a more generic platformer, Friday was its own beast

It's hard to get into a movie that has Audrina from The Hills in it since she already had trouble expressing emotions on the show

Oh yeah Mark was also good
