I think that's the general perception isn't it?

Best comment of the week

Lots of comments on Paul Thomas Anderson, Wes Anderson and Martin Scorsese.

Star Trek. Could never ever in a million years get into it, although I remember enjoying some episodes of Next Generation. I like sci-fi though, it probably has to do with the fact that Star Trek always took itself way too seriously and all the stigma it got because of Trekkies. But I do respect it though.

As opposed to girls who dream of some sort of "Prince Charming" type to take them away…

Most 80's music is superficial but they are also a lot of fun…which can be said for 99% of pop music. If you don't like pop music that's ok, YOU DO YOU!!

I mean it, pick any indie movie from the past 3 years or so that has a fresh idea, in your perspective, I'm just trying to understand where you're coming from

I'm gonna need an example of a fresh idea

I'm guessing you don't like anything that's "fun" right?

It's nice that you think of a friend as a loser…and all the guy's asking for is for a girl that loves him and helps him get out of the misery of his life. Yeah, dreaming of some sort of saving grace in the shape of a girl is the WORST offence

Yeah you're right but Twitter became too big of a monster for our own good

Pff I know, universal themes that can be understood and felt by most people in the world are soooo overdone…

Twitter. It undeniably changed social media and digital communication but I find the whole thing vile

Beyonce is ok, her fans are the ones that are insufferable

Because that's the TITLE of the article. "Despite knowing that they're great"!!

People Have The Power is just too amazing

Why it didn't work exactly? I like him, I've seen all his films and I find Life Aquatic a great movie. I don't think his intention is to make movies with 100% realistic characters, I think he's far more intelligent and self-aware than that, give him some credit. And what do you mean about Darjeeling? There is a story:

You're missing the point of the article: "despite knowing that they're great"

I love PTA but yeah, There Will Be Blood is a difficult one, I don't ever plan on watching it again

Not in New York!
